Day 32: Bellingham drags England into Argentina semi

England and Argentina both needed extra time, and now they meet in the semi-final.

England came from behind to beat Norway 2-1 in Miami: Andreas Schjelderup scored in the 36th minute, Jude Bellingham levelled in first-half stoppage time, and Bellingham struck again in the 93rd minute after Orjan Nyland spilled Morgan Rogers' shot. 12

Argentina followed with a 3-1 extra-time win over ten-man Switzerland in Kansas City. Alexis Mac Allister opened from Lionel Messi's cross, Dan Ndoye equalised, Breel Embolo was sent off after VAR changed a yellow-card decision, Julian Alvarez made it 2-1 in the 112th minute, and Lautaro Martinez sealed it in extra-time stoppage time. 34

The stars-and-stats board belongs to Bellingham and Alvarez. Sky Sports reported Bellingham's brace took him to six goals, level with Harry Kane and one behind Erling Haaland, while FIFA named Alvarez player of the match after his extra-time strike. 25
