Schedule a Recurring Check in ChatGPT

ChatGPT's scheduled tasks run the same check for you on a repeat, and tell you when there is something to report. Open Scheduled, describe the action in plain words — "every Monday, list what changed" — and set the repeat and the time. A card confirms the task and its schedule. 1

Choose how the result reaches you: in Settings, open Notifications and pick push, email, or both. Mobile push notifications need the task created in the mobile app, with permission granted. Open the task later from Scheduled to edit, pause, resume, or delete it; deleting the chat it lives in pauses it. A task created inside a Project cannot read that Project's uploaded files. 1

Your plan sets both limits. Free accounts schedule one run a day, in flexible windows such as morning, afternoon, or night. Plus keeps five active tasks, Business and Edu ten, Pro and Enterprise fifteen. Hourly runs and exact delivery times need a paid plan. Test the prompt in a normal chat first, then read the first few runs before you trust it to repeat. Worth setting up when the same check comes round again. 12
