Telepatia builds clinical AI for hospitals in Latin America, combining documentation, decision support, and AI healthcare roles trained on clinical guidelines and local protocols. a16z announced that it led the company’s $33M Series A on June 17; the firm also said Telepatia is deployed across 25+ hospital systems in Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, reaching 14 million patients. 1

Ent.AI emerged from stealth with $100M in seed funding led by Decibel Partners. Crunchbase News reported that Sequoia Capital, Craft Ventures, Crosspoint Capital Partners, Felicis, IQT, and Shield Capital also participated. 4

Flagright builds transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, risk scoring, case management, and AI investigation tools for banks and fintechs. Sifted reported that the company raised a $12.5M Series A led by Infinity Ventures, with participation from Sella Direct Ventures and existing investors including Frontline and Y Combinator. 6

The company says it operates in more than 35 countries and will use the new capital to expand AI capabilities and grow in the U.S. market. 6

The a16z official news page surfaced two new investment posts in-window: Telepatia and Convey. Additional verified funding coverage added a16z Speedrun’s Clair Health participation and a16z’s participation as an existing backer in Current’s Series E. Sequoia’s own homepage still showed no new "Partnering with..." investment post in this window, but Crunchbase News named Sequoia Capital on Ent.AI’s $100M seed.
