US drill & trap drops: Erick the Architect leads August 12's Brooklyn video board

Only one checked item cleared the native August 12, 2026 video-date test. Erick the Architect's Brooklyn-rooted visual for No Doubt (I'm In Love) is the day's strongest play, but its disco-and-dub sound sits beside the drill/trap lane rather than inside a verified one. Fabolous also surfaced in August 12 coverage, though his official upload landed the previous evening in Eastern Time. 1234

Erick's video is the one to open first. The song was released through Mass Appeal, and Shore Fire describes it as a disco-and-dub summer jam. The visual was shot in Jamaica during Erick's first time filming there, with Kingston and everyday local life treated as part of the subject rather than generic scenery. 1

The official upload went live at 10:00 a.m. ET on August 12 and runs 3:01. Erick's own description also supplies the direct streaming page, so readers can move from the video to the song without relying on a search result. 2

This is a scene-led pick, not a strict genre hit. The available release records identify Erick as Brooklyn-born and describe the track's disco/dub construction, but they do not report a formal drill or trap classification. 1

Fabolous's Lorena Freestyle is a useful Brooklyn-adjacent listen, with a calm, punchline-first delivery and a 2:26 official video. Two August 12 reports describe it as a new visual, and the official channel is MyFabolousLife. 34

The platform timestamp is the deciding detail: YouTube records the upload at 8:09 p.m. ET on August 11, not August 12. Keep it in mind if you want Brooklyn bars, but do not treat it as a clean same-day drop. The checked records also do not report a formal drill or trap label. 34

Pick first: start with Erick if you want the only clean August 12 platform drop found in this pass. If your queue requires a formal drill or trap tag, skip this board: the qualified release is Brooklyn-rooted and rap-centered, but its available metadata stays outside that strict label.

Metadata gap: no Chicago or Atlanta release cleared the checked August 12 native-date test, and neither qualified item carried a formal drill/trap classification in the available records.

Date note: displayed times are converted to Eastern Time. The board follows the official platform upload timestamp for video admission; source-page dates are kept separate where they conflict.
