SF Bay Area Events: Cloudflare, PyTorch and AGNTCon, October 19–25, 2026

A ranked shortlist of the Bay Area's AI, developer, founder and builder events for October 19 to 25, 2026 — the week Cloudflare Connect, the PyTorch Conference and AGNTCon + MCPCon run — with prices, registration status, quality signals and a direct link for every entry.

SF Bay Area Events of the Week
SF Bay Area Events of the Week@NeoDrop Official
Three big rooms open this week, and two of them are in San Jose.
Cloudflare Connect 2026 runs Monday through Wednesday, October 19 to 21, at Moscone West in San Francisco. 1 Cloudflare counts 5,000-plus developers and security leaders, 40 partners and more than 100 sessions across five tracks. A conference pass is US$595 and includes the keynotes, the breakouts, meals, swag and the closing party.
PyTorch Conference North America follows on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 20 and 21, at the San Jose Convention Center. 2 The PyTorch Foundation counts 3,500 attendees, 200 talks and posters, and 400 speakers across the two days. Late registration is US$999, or US$249 on an academic ticket. 3
AGNTCon + MCPCon North America takes the same building on Thursday and Friday, October 22 and 23. 4 The Linux Foundation runs it for people putting agents into production: 150 talks over 11 tracks, seven workshops at no added cost. An attendee ticket is US$925, a one-day pass US$475, and an expo-plus-party pass US$149. 5
That shapes how the week splits. Monday to Wednesday the gravity is San Francisco and San Jose at once; Thursday and Friday it moves south, and the strongest evening rooms are back in the city. Everything below was checked on Sunday, October 18, 2026, and every time is Pacific.
Several rooms had already closed by Sunday morning. Where that happened, the entry says so and names the waitlist, because hosts release places from it as the date nears.

The week at a glance

Ranking weighs topic relevance first, then the evidence of quality: who is hosting, whether a programme or a speaker list is published, how selective the room is, and whether registration is still open. The status in each row is what the event's own page reported on October 18.

Kernels in San Jose, code in San Francisco

Cloudflare Connect opens its first day with the training track. Cloudflare University runs three sessions across the day at US$495 as an add-on, and it sold out. 1 The Global Partner Summit runs 1:00 to 5:00 PM, The Cold Start startup pitch competition 4:00 to 5:00 PM, and the welcome reception 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Status: conference registration open when checked, US$595.
Triton Developer Conference 2026 runs 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the San Jose Convention Center, 150 W San Carlos St, co-located with PyTorch for the first time in its fourth year. 7 The two keynotes tell you what day you are in for: Thomas Raoux of OpenAI on Triton's state of the union, Shane Nay of Meta on GPU compilers at Meta. The rest is kernel work. NVIDIA covers programming the Rubin GPUs and a CUDA Tile IR backend, and AMD takes Triton Gluon against MI450. IBM Research has fused kernels for hybrid state-space models in vLLM, and Marvell has a KV cache too large for one accelerator. Poster sessions at 11:20 AM and 4:15 PM, and an offsite meetup from 5:00 PM. Status: registration open when checked; the page publishes no ticket price.
The Cline, Parallel, & Composio Hackathon runs 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM in San Francisco, at an address released to approved guests. 10 The brief is a personal agent built in the open with Cline, Composio, Parallel and open models, and the only house rule is that what you build gets open-sourced. Prizes run an NVIDIA DGX Spark, US$1,000 in Cline credits and roughly US$500 for third. Status: full when checked, 250 going, waitlist open.
The Open Weight Debate Night fills GitHub's San Francisco office from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. 11 The billed debaters are Ion Stoica of UC Berkeley, Databricks and Anyscale; Percy Liang of Stanford, Marin and Open Athena; Ben Brooks of Black Forest Labs; Cheryl Cheng of M12; and Malo Bourgon of MIRI. Michael Schwarz of Microsoft, Vibhu Sapra and Sophia Dew moderate. Status: registration open when checked, 496 going.
The SF Database Meetup starts at 5:30 PM at PlanetScale, 108 Natoma St. 20 Three talks: Christian Glassiognon of PlanetScale on what a database really is, Hunter Leath of Archil on a cloud filesystem built for agents at scale, and Erik Dunteman of Modal. Status: open when checked, 280 going.
MCP in the Wild: Agents That Know You runs 5:30 to 8:00 PM at the Silicon Valley AI Hub in Menlo Park, with Snowflake, ODSC AI and SpaceXAI. 21 It is the personal-agent argument in one evening: what changes when an agent remembers preferences and acts across tools. Status: open when checked.

How to choose

  • If you have one day and no ticket budget. Monday is the free day: the Open Weight Debate at GitHub from 5:00 PM costs nothing and puts Ion Stoica and Percy Liang on one stage, and the Triton conference earlier the same day is an RSVP with no published price.
  • If you want a conference badge and a real programme. Cloudflare Connect is US$595 for three days at Moscone West, and the PyTorch Conference late rate of US$999 closes on October 21, the second day of the event. The academic PyTorch ticket is US$249.
  • If you want the cheap way into the San Jose week. The AGNTCon expo-plus-party pass is US$149 and includes the DE LA SOUL bash on October 21; a Luma listing for the conference also publishes a 50 percent discount code.
  • If you want to build something and leave with a demo. Friday has the most rooms: the Snowflake and Anthropic day in Menlo Park, the Beta Fund, AWS and OpenAI day in the city, and the GMI cohort demo at noon. Saturday's VibeCon is the one with a YC interview attached.
  • If you want founders in a small room. South Park Commons runs two: Sriram Krishnan on Tuesday morning and Trae Stephens on Wednesday afternoon, both on approval.
  • If you want the week's best pure social night. The Cloudflare open source happy hour on Wednesday has Evan You, the Astro pair and the Deno pair in one room for an hour, and the AI Community Bash closes that same night with DE LA SOUL in San Jose.
  • If you are planning around a trip. The whole middle of the week is San Jose — Tuesday and Wednesday at the convention centre, Thursday and Friday at the McEnery centre next door. Saturday pulls everything back to San Francisco.

Source boundaries and disclosures

This is a curated shortlist of the Bay Area technology, AI, founder and builder events worth knowing about for October 19 to 25, 2026, the week Cloudflare Connect, PyTorch Conference and AGNTCon + MCPCon run. Every date, time, venue and access state came from the event's own page, and registration status is what those pages reported on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Where an entry gives no street address, the host has kept it private and releases it to registered or approved guests.
Three calendars did most of the work. Luma's San Francisco discovery listing returned 56 events, 34 of them inside the window. 75 The Open Source AI Week calendar carried the conference-adjacent week, including Triton, the DE LA SOUL bash and the Jupyter and LF AI & Data days. 76 Foundercal's San Francisco calendar lists 134 events for October, 52 of them dated this week, and it supplied most of the Friday and Saturday build days that the other two calendars did not surface. 77
Cloudflare Connect is in this issue on the strength of Cloudflare's own conference page, which no calendar surfaced. 1 The same is true of the two Linux Foundation conferences and of the PyTorch registration rates. 2 Cerebral Valley surfaced the Snowflake and Anthropic hackathon. 78
Two of the five calendars this channel normally reads produced no listing for this window. Eventbrite's date-filtered San Francisco technology listings for October 19 to 25 returned 18 events, nearly all of them recurring networking nights from the same handful of organisers. The one that published a programme named a venue in Dublin while its own structured listing data placed it at a coworking space on California Street, so none were carried. 79 Partiful's San Francisco explore page returned 64 gatherings for the same period, all of them social or cultural, with no technology or builder event among them. 80 The San Francisco Tech Week calendar, whose festival ran October 5 to 11, lists two events inside this window, and one of those was already carried in the October 12–18 issue. 81
Where an entry says the room was full, the waitlist is the way in. Hosts release places from it as the date nears.
