July 15 Hongguo New-Drama Top 10: AI Leads, Jing Xue Weiyang Holds No. 2
The latest complete public Hongguo new-drama snapshot puts Fapei Bianguan Season 7 first at 72.95 million heat, while six AI/manhua titles and a live-action quality counterweight define the board.
Snapshot
This issue uses the latest complete public snapshot I could verify before the 08:00 China-time run: a Sina-hosted report published at 06:30 on July 15 and labeled a July Hongguo new-drama Top 10. It is a Hongguo heat chart, not a unified cross-platform score, and its last three titles are shortened with ellipses in the source. 1
The board is led by the AI/manhua sequel 《发配边关，罪妻开荒养出战神第七季》 at 72.95 million heat. 《京雪未央》 is the live-action quality signal at No. 2, while the chart report says six of the ten entries are AI manhua; 《剑归》 is better read as a live-action plus AI hybrid than as a pure animation title. 1

Why These Titles Are Moving
1. A sequel with a proven promise takes the summit
《发配边关，罪妻开荒养出战神第七季》 turns a familiar short-drama engine into a repeatable franchise: a modern logistics worker lands in a drought-hit frontier, uses farming and household know-how to change the local economy, and helps a low-status husband become a war hero. The chart report says the first three seasons all reached the Top 10, while this entry posted 1.301 million saves and 1.705 million likes. 1
2. 《京雪未央》 is the quality counterweight
The second-place romance is the only Top 5 entry the chart report gives a rating above 9.5, and the weekly Tencent roundup lists 84 episodes and a July 4 launch. Its hook is not simply a rich heir and a naive heroine: a former family tutor returns years later as a diplomatic translator, turning an unequal relationship into a contest between two adults with leverage. 13
3. The machine-and-space gamble has real reach
《精神小妹也要修机甲吗》 combines a post-apocalyptic repair-team leader, a body-swap into a star-school student, mecha engineering, and a deliberately comic personality. Tencent's July 7 snapshot put it first on effective plays at 126 million, and the weekly roundup lists 135 episodes; the July 15 Hongguo chart still places it third with 738,000 saves and 1.452 million likes. 138
4. Revenge romance still converts, when the execution is clean
《大婚前薄情王爷变了心，我改嫁死对头，他哭了》 runs on a reliable trigger: a wedding-day betrayal followed by a switch to the rival and a long pursuit. The public listing gives it 92 episodes and the Liu Lan Ge and Huang You Tian pairing; the Hongguo report records a 9.0 rating and 337,000 saves, suggesting that familiar revenge mechanics still travel when the emotional turn is clear. 14
5. The dropped-mask template remains dependable
《号外，重生大佬掉马甲了》 stacks several proven triggers: a broken engagement, a marriage to a seemingly foolish beggar who is actually an heir, and the eventual reveal of hidden status. The weekly roundup lists 100 episodes and says the setup can feel familiar, but its detail work and atmosphere still earned attention; the Hongguo table shows 555,000 saves and 673,000 likes. 13
6. Supernatural mystery fills the first AI-heavy middle lane
《为他守棺，出世即金眼》 is the chart's supernatural-suspense entry: a schoolgirl protects her boyfriend's body, enters dangerous territory, and searches for the object that can bring him back. The chart reports 337,000 saves and 734,000 likes, while a public title listing identifies it as an 83-episode AI short drama. 15
7. The source truncates the title, but the hook is legible
The Sina table displays only 《穿成炮灰后：不是反派…》; a public listing supplies the longer title 《穿成炮灰后：不是反派吗？怎么要抱抱》 and identifies a 50-episode Season 2 AI short drama. That season detail should not be mistaken for the total franchise count, but the story engine is clear: a transmigrated disposable character has to survive an encounter with a cold antagonist, then gets pulled into romance. 16
8. 《剑归》 is the clearest cross-platform case
This fantasy-wuxia title combines a traditional action cast with AI-assisted spectacle, and the weekly Tencent roundup lists 72 episodes. A July 15 industry report says it had passed 100 million plays on Douyin while holding above 50 million Hongguo heat for several days, with Li Lianjie used as the attention anchor; that is a useful cross-platform signal, but it is still a different metric from the Hongguo heat number in this table. 39
9. A live-action romance survives at the cutoff
The chart shortens the title to 《穿成破产太子爷的刁蛮…》. A title-level Sina page identifies the full drama as 《穿成破产太子爷的刁蛮前女友》, starring Liu Xiyu and Gao Mingchen, with an urban-romance and transmigration setup: a heroine tries to survive beside a bankrupt genius and gradually falls for him. A public video listing gives 72 episodes, while the Hongguo heat of 52.40 million keeps this live-action lane in the Top 10 despite the AI/manhua majority. 1710
10. The fourth-season cutoff keeps the male-skewing lane visible
《烬九州第四季》 closes the list at 52.28 million heat, with 328,000 saves and 320,000 likes in the source table. Its 115-episode scale and ancient political-revenge framing give the chart a long-form-feeling AI/manhua franchise at the cutoff, even as the lower half remains tightly packed. 1
Three Signals To Carry Forward
AI is now a format cluster, not a novelty slot. The source report counts six AI manhua titles in this ten-entry new-drama chart, and the list spans farming, mecha science fiction, supernatural suspense, transmigration romance, hybrid wuxia, and political revenge. That range matters more than any single title: AI production is being used to open genre lanes that would be expensive or difficult to stage live. 1
Romance has lost volume, not relevance. Three chart labels are romance or love-story variants, and the two clearest quality markers are 《京雪未央》 at a reported 9.5 rating and 《大婚前薄情王爷变了心，我改嫁死对头，他哭了》 at 9.0. The stronger entries are selling reversals and adult negotiation, not only a generic rich-heir fantasy. 1
The middle is much tighter than the summit. Ranks 4 through 10 run from 56.50 million to 52.28 million heat, a spread of only 4.22 million, while the leader is more than 6 million ahead of No. 2. That shape leaves room for one credible live-action breakout or a fresh AI sequel to move several places at once. 1
Method And Limits
The ranking and heat values above are transcribed from the July 15 Sina-hosted Hongguo new-drama report, which states that all ten titles cleared 50 million heat and that six were AI manhua. The report is a public repost rather than a directly accessible official Hongguo export, so this issue calls it the latest public snapshot instead of claiming a verified same-morning official chart. 1
Episode counts come from the title-level pages or the Tencent weekly roundup where available. For ranks 7 and 9, the chart itself truncates the title; rank 7's 50-episode figure is specifically for a public Season 2 listing, and rank 9's 72-episode figure comes from a public video listing. Those qualifiers are deliberate, because a sequel count is not automatically a franchise total. 367
Hongguo heat and Douyin play count are different measures. 《剑归》 is the only title in this pass with a current public cross-platform comparison I could verify, while no same-morning Kuaishou snapshot was readable before the run cutoff; no Kuaishou value is inferred here. 9
