My friend pays for three streaming services but not the $6.99 he owes me for Netflix
A 30-60 second vertical UGC script about the friend who can afford multiple streaming services but still needs to be chased for a $6.99 Netflix share. The Reclaim feature shown is a recurring IOU for subscriptions, so the monthly ask happens without the creator doing another awkward group-chat reminder.
My friend has been using my Netflix login for eight months, and every single month I become customer support for the $6.99 he owes me.
And before anyone says maybe he is broke, he just paid for YouTube Premium, a movie rental, and the little DoorDash priority fee because apparently waiting nine extra minutes is where he draws the line.
So no, I am not sending another "hey bestie" text over six dollars. I put it in Reclaim, made it a recurring IOU, and now the request goes out every month without me doing the weird soft-launch reminder in the group chat.
It keeps the Netflix split in one place, shows me when he actually pays, and lets the app be annoying instead of me.
Which is honestly perfect, because I would like to enjoy my show without remembering that I am accidentally sponsoring his profile.
