Anthropic Jun 22-24: scale up, lock down

A 3-card intelligence brief on the last 72 hours: Anthropic tightened its infrastructure and enterprise distribution story, while the Fable/Mythos access fight gained a fresh technical allegation and a federal lawsuit.

Four material signals landed in the same window: Micron announced a memory-and-storage agreement with Anthropic, Anthropic launched Claude Tag for Slack, an AP report said Mythos identified vulnerabilities in secure U.S. government systems during testing, and Legion LegalTech sued the U.S. government over the June 12 access directive. 1234

Micron said the agreement spans memory and storage architecture work, supply, Claude adoption inside Micron, and a strategic investment in Anthropic’s Series H round; Reuters added that financial terms were not disclosed. 15

Claude Tag moves Claude into Slack as a channel-level teammate for Enterprise and Team beta customers. Anthropic says teams can grant channel-scoped access to tools and data, use @Claude for async tasks, and migrate from the older Claude in Slack app within 30 days. 2

The AP report said a U.S. official described a Project Glasswing test in which Mythos identified vulnerabilities within hours; the same official cautioned that finding vulnerabilities was not the same as exploiting them. CNBC republished the AP account, and Anthropic and the NSA declined comment in that report. 3

Legion LegalTech’s lawsuit challenges the June 12 directive that led Anthropic to disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 access broadly. Reuters reported that Legion asked a federal judge to set aside the directive and said the company’s Canada-based development team was cut off; Anthropic is not a party to the case. 4

The watch item is now narrower: look for a formal access restoration, a licensing path for trusted users, or a public rulebook for how frontier-model cyber findings trigger access curbs. Anthropic’s June 12 statement remains the baseline public account of the suspension. 6
