Aug. 24 luxury deals: Coach at 50%, Tory Burch sandals, and clearance bags below $180
A Monday scan of live official and authorized-retailer markdowns, from Coach's $247.50 leather bag to final-sale cuts at FARFETCH and clearance bags below $180 at Nordstrom Rack.
The pages worth opening on Monday are split across four different trade-offs. Coach has a current official 50% handbag at $247.50. Tory Burch's US site has a $179 slide with free US returns, while FARFETCH has a Tory Burch sandal labelled 60% off and an Alberta Ferretti short at 65% off, both with final-sale risk. Nordstrom Rack's clearance page goes deeper on selected items, but its product-level terms need a checkout check.
Prices and terms below were checked Monday, August 24, 2026. The source pages did not show universal start dates or closing dates for these markdowns, so this is a live snapshot of pages available at that check. Prices, stock, delivery, and eligibility can change after publication.

| Marc Jacobs Bold Saddle Leather Shoulder Bag | $149.48 from $458 — 67% off. 6 | Leather shoulder bag; Nordstrom Rack US clearance page. | No product-level return, shipping, or closing-date terms were visible on the returned clearance page; inventory is the practical clock. |
For a handbag, Coach has the cleanest entry
Coach's Brooklyn Shoulder Bag 39 is the easiest place to start if the goal is a recognizable leather bag below $250. The official US product page lists $247.50 against a $495 original price, a 15-inch laptop fit, natural-grain leather, and free shipping on orders of $75 or more. The product page shows no membership gate or promo-code step. 1
Coach's sale page currently lists 42 products across handbags, shoes, wallets, clothing, jewelry, and accessories. The page says sale deals change often and gives no end date. Coach's FAQ says sale items are generally returnable within 30 days when they are unworn and have their tags, parts, and accessories, with final-sale items excluded. Read the exact product and receipt language before paying. 7
The practical difference from a final-sale markdown is room to reconsider. Coach's displayed price is higher than the cheapest options below, yet the product page gives a clearer path for a shopper who still needs to judge size, shape, or color after delivery.
For sandals, compare the return path before the percentage
Tory Burch's Turnlock Sport Slide costs $179 instead of $325 on the US brand site. The leather two-strap sandal comes with free shipping and free returns within the continental US. The page shows no final-sale label and no closing date. 2
FARFETCH shows a different Tory Burch sandal at $195 from $549 and labels the page 60% off. The black velvet style has crystal-embellished buckles, import duties included, and an estimated 1–3 business-day delivery window. The page is marked Final Sale, so the lower displayed price comes with a much narrower fit-and-style decision. 3
The two pages are close in checkout price. Tory Burch direct carries the stronger return route; FARFETCH carries the stronger displayed markdown label. Start with the direct page when you need flexibility. Open the FARFETCH page only when the size and silhouette already feel certain.
FARFETCH has the deepest product cuts, with final-sale risk
The Alberta Ferretti cut-out detail shorts are the largest product-level percentage in this scan: $166 from $483, with FARFETCH showing 65% off. The page marks the shorts Final Sale and Non-returnable, lists import duties as included, and estimates delivery in 1–3 business days. The same page advertises free shipping over $400 and free returns for 30 days across the service, but those general promises do not change the item's final-sale label. 5
The Valentino Garavani Kicky nappa sneakers are a larger purchase at $490 from $980, or 50% off. FARFETCH lists an Italian-made nappa-leather sneaker with an estimated 1–3 business-day delivery window and a Final Sale label. Shoe size is the main risk: the price saves $490 against the displayed anchor, while the return route gives no second chance. 4
FARFETCH also advertises 15% off a first app order on the Alberta Ferretti page. The page gives no closing date or code in the returned copy. Treat the welcome offer as a separate eligibility check, and test whether the product qualifies before assuming that it applies to a final-sale item. 5
Nordstrom Rack goes deeper, but checkout carries more of the work
Nordstrom Rack's US clearance page shows 9,051 items and a separate Fall's Best Deals link advertising up to 65% off. The same page lists a Longchamp Quilted Chain Strap Shoulder Bag at $179.98–$399.97 against an $840 comparable value, with up to 78% off select items. The page also lists a Marc Jacobs Bold Saddle Leather Shoulder Bag at $149.48 against $458, or 67% off. 6
Those prices make Rack the first place to browse when the target is a designer bag at the lowest possible ticket. The returned clearance page gave no product-level shipping, return, final-sale, or closing-date language for either bag. Open the exact listing, select the color and size, and read the checkout terms before treating the percentage as a finished deal. The product links shown on the page are Longchamp and Marc Jacobs.
A five-minute shopping order
- Choose the return rule first. Open the Tory Burch direct page or Coach when you need a clearer return route. Treat the FARFETCH Tory Burch, Alberta Ferretti, and Valentino pages as final-sale decisions.
- Set the budget before browsing Rack. The Longchamp range starts at $179.98, the Marc Jacobs bag is $149.48, and Coach's Brooklyn 39 is $247.50. Open the exact product listing rather than relying on the category headline. 16
- Check the size before the price. Use the size guide for the FARFETCH shoes and the product measurements for the Coach bag. Final-sale discounts reward certainty, not experimentation. 14
- Recheck destination and delivery. FARFETCH shows import duties included on the Tory Burch, Valentino, and Alberta Ferretti pages, while Tory Burch direct states free shipping and returns within the continental US. The checkout path still determines the final total and delivery promise. 235
- Save the product page before waiting. None of the selected pages showed a closing date. Stock changes and a removed size are the only urgency signals visible on several listings.
Coach offers the clearest bag purchase with a live 50% price cut and a more forgiving general return route. Tory Burch direct offers the clearest sandal return path. FARFETCH has the highest product markdowns in this set, while Nordstrom Rack has the lowest displayed bag prices but leaves more terms to verify at checkout. The useful choice is the one whose return and region conditions fit your purchase, not the largest percentage printed beside the price.
