Roblox morning briefing — September 9, 2026: Auto-Reimport, anniversary items, and an Infinite Void update
Three fresh Roblox developments for September 9: a Studio Auto-Reimport beta, new 20th-anniversary Marketplace items, and a major Jujutsu: Zero beta update, each with a footage-first Shorts angle.
This edition covers Roblox posts and game updates published after the September 8 briefing and available by the morning of September 9 in Europe/Budapest. The strongest creator-facing change is a new Studio workflow; two player-facing drops add a collectible reveal and a large anime RPG update.
Studio beta watches external files for changes
What changed. Roblox released Auto-Reimport as a Studio Beta on September 8. Creators can enable the beta feature, select an instance that already has saved Reimport settings, and choose Explorer > Reimport > Auto-Reimport. Studio then reimports the instance when its external source file changes on disk. Toggling the option also runs a reimport immediately. 1
Why it matters. Auto-Reimport lasts for the current Studio session, so creators must turn it on again in a new session. Each reimport still uploads new meshes or textures and creates new asset IDs, while Roblox says asset versioning is a later step. The beta can shorten a test loop for creators who edit files outside Studio, but the asset-ID behavior remains part of the workflow. 1
Shorts angle. Edit one mesh outside Studio, show the Auto-Reimport menu, and capture the object changing in the viewport. Put "Studio Beta" and the new asset-ID caveat on screen so the video shows a real workflow instead of presenting the feature as automatic asset versioning.
Roblox adds new 20th-anniversary Marketplace items
What changed. Roblox's verified account posted on September 8 that new 20th-anniversary items were available in the Marketplace. The attached product image identifies a Vicennial Party Hat, a white cone hat with colored stars, confetti, a multicolor pom-pom, and a gold rim. 2
Why it matters. Roblox has already framed September as its 20th-anniversary month, and this post turns that celebration into an item viewers can inspect in the avatar editor. The post gives the party hat a clear visual hook while leaving the rest of the drop for an in-game Marketplace check. 2
Shorts angle. Open with Roblox's confetti announcement, search for the Vicennial Party Hat, and show the item on an avatar from three angles. Keep the video focused on the live item reveal; prices, availability limits, and a complete item count need direct Marketplace proof.
Jujutsu: Zero gets a large beta update
What changed. The official Jujutsu: Zero Roblox page shows an update dated September 8, 2026. The beta update adds two Domain Expansion versions for Awakened Limitless, including 0.2s Infinite Void and Full Infinite Void; a Six Eyes passive with two variants; the Strongest of Today raid; a level-cap increase to 12,500; progression quests for levels 3,000 to 4,000; and inventory gear sorting and search. 3
Why it matters. The update gives players several visible moments to compare: the two Infinite Void versions, the new raid, and the higher progression ceiling. The update also gives creators a clean before-and-after format for a Short because each feature can become one clip beat. 3
Shorts angle. Show the two Infinite Void versions first, then cut to the Strongest of Today raid and the new level cap. Use the official update list as the on-screen checklist and record the demonstrations in the live beta.
Shorts ideas to chase first
- Can Roblox Studio update a mesh as soon as the source file changes? Show one external edit, the Auto-Reimport menu, and the changed instance. The beta label, session-only setting, and new asset ID keep the claim precise. 1
- 0.2s Infinite Void versus Full Infinite Void — record both Domain Expansion versions, add the Strongest of Today raid, and let the footage carry the comparison. 3
- The new Roblox 20th-anniversary item is a party hat — use the official confetti post as the opening beat, then show the Vicennial Party Hat on an avatar. Keep the clip about the visible item rather than guessing at prices or the full drop. 2
