Sound Profile
Genre Tags: Girl-pop · Retro hook pop · Sweet-to-sultry idol pop · Bright dance-pop
UNIS sits in a sweet spot between polished idol craft and genuine feel-good energy. Their debut era leaned bubbly and aspirational ("Superwoman"), but their 2024 breakthrough "Curious" landed them in a warmer, more retro-pop lane — think classic Twice earworm construction with a modern K-pop production sheen. By 2025's "SWICY," they'd leveled up: more confident, a hint of attitude, still deeply melodic.
Their vocal range across 8 members means they can stack harmonies Twice-style, flip between cute and fierce mid-song like Aespa, and pull off the cool-girl minimalism that defines Le Sserafim's best B-sides.

Why Fans of Your Favorites Will Love Them
If you love Aespa — UNIS delivers that same bright, energetic idol charisma. "SWICY" has the kind of building hook structure that made "Drama" a repeat listen. They understand concept-forward staging and have the visual cohesion to match.
If you love Twice — This is the most direct line. "Curious" is essentially the template that made Twice famous: the kind of melody you can't scrub out of your head for a week. They even covered Twice's "Cheer Up" and "What Is Love?" in concert. UNIS has that same rare ability to make bright, feel-good K-pop feel genuinely sophisticated.
If you love Le Sserafim — The multi-national lineup with Japanese and Filipino members mirrors that international energy. Their cool-to-cute range in "SWICY" taps into the same confident girl-group DNA. And their live performance chops — consistent from debut — feel Le Sserafim-level committed.
