Grab and GameStop Lead Five Companies, $63.83M of Insider Buys

Five companies cleared the September 21–25 screen with $63,827,744 of officer and director purchases above $1 million, led by Grab's Anthony Tan and GameStop's Ryan Cohen, after a peso-priced CEMEX filing and an Electra IPO allocation were set aside.

Insider Buying: $1M+ Trades@NeoDrop Official
The screen retained five qualifying insider purchases across five companies in the September 21–25, 2026 trade-date window, worth $63,827,744. Two buyers account for 88% of that total: Grab co-founder Anthony Tan's $29.88 million on September 21 and GameStop chief executive Ryan Cohen's $26.39 million the same day. Four of the five companies drew a second insider inside the same week, and every one of the five buyers is a founder, chief executive or chairman. The screen covers Form 4 filings posted through 8:00 a.m. Eastern on September 28, 2026, and takes September 25 as the last trade date in the window. 1
Two large screen hits were removed before ranking. CEMEX director Rogelio Zambrano Lozano reported 400,800 ordinary participation certificates on September 25 at a weighted average of 17.2812 — pesos, as the filing's own footnotes say, not dollars. At the Federal Reserve's most recent published rate, 17.2454 pesos to the dollar on September 18, that purchase comes to about $402,000, roughly a seventeenth of the $6.9 million a screen prints when it reads a peso price as dollars. 23 Electra Therapeutics showed two purchases of 1,333,333 shares at $15.00, $19,999,995 each, one filed by OrbiMed Advisors and one by OrbiMed's board designee Carl L. Gordon. The two filings report the same shares, and both carry a footnote stating the shares were purchased in the issuer's initial public offering, which closed on September 21. 45
Every mark below is the gap between a reported entry price and the September 25 closing price. It is an unrealized spread on shares the insider still holds, not a realized return, and it carries no information about why the purchase was made.

1. Grab Holdings (GRAB)

Transactions. Chief executive and co-founder Anthony Tan Ping Yeow bought 10,350,000 Class A ordinary shares on September 21 at a weighted average of $2.8866, with trades from $2.83 to $2.91, for $29,876,310. 6 The filing reports his direct holding rising from 428,498 shares to 10,778,498, so the purchase is 96% of the position he held afterwards. President and chief operating officer Alexander Charles Hungate bought 299,571 shares the same day at $2.8936, $866,839, which on its own sits below the $1 million cutoff. 16
Company context. Grab runs ride-hailing, deliveries and payments across Southeast Asia, and on September 15 it agreed to buy a controlling 60% of Atome Financial, the consumer-lending arm of Advance Intelligence Group, for $1.49 billion in cash. The same announcement raised its 2028 targets to $1.7 billion of adjusted EBITDA on a revenue compound annual growth rate above 30% from 2025. 17 That day the company also said it intends to spend the roughly $900 million left under its existing buyback authorizations over the next twelve months. 18 Second-quarter results, released August 4, showed revenue up 22% to $997 million, on-demand gross merchandise value up 21% to $6.5 billion, profit of $235 million and adjusted EBITDA up 54% to $168 million, with full-year guidance raised to $4.10–4.15 billion of revenue. 19 The shares closed at a twelve-month low of $2.795 on September 18, the last session before the purchase, and finished the week at $3.13, which is still 51% below the $6.39 close of October 6, 2025. 7
Track record. The retrievable record of Grab insider filings runs from March 20, 2026, and every filing in it that bears Tan's name is a sale: 400,000 shares on each of April 10, May 11, June 15, July 10 and August 10, at prices between $3.51 and $3.91, the largest of them $1,448,720 on August 10. 20 This purchase is the first of his that a six-month reading could follow.
Current mark. At the September 25 close of $3.13, the purchase is up 8.43%. 7
Signal read. A founder took his direct holding from 428,498 shares to 10.78 million in one morning, two sessions after the shares closed at their lowest level in a year, in the week his company announced both its largest acquisition and the completion of a buyback.

2. GameStop (GME)

Transaction. President, chief executive and chairman Ryan Cohen bought 1,150,680 common shares on September 21 at a weighted average of $22.9375, with trades from $22.76 to $23.02, for $26,393,723. 8 Director Alain Attal bought 17,500 shares the same day at $22.969, $401,958, below the threshold on its own. 21
Company context. GameStop reported second-quarter results on September 8: operating income of $160.2 million, the highest for a second quarter in its history, against $66.4 million a year earlier, on net sales that fell to $790.2 million from $972.2 million. Collectibles sales rose 57% to $356.3 million and now account for 45.1% of net sales. The company raised its full-year adjusted EBITDA outlook to more than $650 million, and reported $5.4 billion of cash, marketable securities and digital assets plus a 43.4-million-share stake in eBay worth about $4.9 billion. 22 On September 3 it completed privately negotiated exchanges retiring about $1.4 billion of convertible notes, cutting long-term debt to roughly $2.8 billion. 22 The shares closed at $23.39 on September 25, up from $22.64 a week earlier and 15% below the twelve-month closing high of $27.69 set on October 1, 2025. 9
Track record. Cohen has now bought four times in the retrievable record, which reaches back to October 2024: 500,000 shares at $21.55 on April 3, 2025; 1,000,000 at $21.3592 on January 20, 2026; 1,000,000 at $20.3759 on September 10, 2026; and this purchase. 23 Both earlier purchases old enough to be measured over six months closed higher — up 17.8% for the April 2025 purchase and up 1.9% for the January 2026 purchase, a median gain of 9.9% across a sample of two — and the April 2025 purchase, the only one old enough for a twelve-month reading, sat 7.1% higher a year later. 9 The September 10 purchase is fifteen days old.
Current mark. At the September 25 close of $23.39, the purchase is up 1.97%. 9
Signal read. Cohen has spent about $78.9 million on 3,650,680 shares since April 2025, and he was not alone in September: director Lawrence Cheng bought 55,000 shares at $18.80 on September 8, and director James Grube bought 10,255 at $19.12 on September 9, both just before this window opened. 23

3. Nayax (NYAX)

Transactions. Chief executive, co-founder and chairman Yair Nechmad bought 104,511 ordinary shares on September 24 at $44.0884, $4,607,723. The filing states the shares were purchased in the open market and that the price was paid in new Israeli shekels at 3.047 to the dollar, and it reports 7,433,558 shares held directly afterwards. 10 Chief technology officer and co-founder David Ben-Avi bought 2,354 shares at $43.10 on September 22, $101,465, after 1,014 shares at $42.91 on September 17. 2425
Company context. Nayax sells payment terminals and a commerce platform for unattended retail — vending machines, electric-vehicle chargers, car washes, laundromats. Second-quarter results, released August 10, showed revenue up 28% to $123 million, a net loss of $10.1 million driven by stock-based compensation, adjusted net income of $6 million and adjusted EBITDA of $14.1 million, with an installed base past 1.55 million devices and 125,000 customers. The company said it had begun issuing through Nayax Capital and had applied for a U.S. bank charter. 26 The shares fell from a closing high of $75.81 on May 29, 2026 to $42.63 on September 23, the session before the purchase, then closed the week at $45.03, still 40.6% below that May high. 11
Track record. The open-market purchase record for this issuer, which runs from March 26, 2026, contains no earlier purchase by Nechmad; what it holds instead is routine small sales by the chief financial officer, the chief marketing officer and other officers, and two large sales by Ben-Avi in May 2026. 27 This purchase is the first of his that a six-month reading could follow.
Current mark. At the September 25 close of $45.03, the purchase is up 2.14%. 11
Signal read. The chief executive bought above the previous session's close rather than into the low, and he was following his co-founder, who had bought twice in the week before — the reverse of the sales pattern the rest of the executive team has run all year.

4. Howard Hughes Holdings (HHH)

Transactions. Marc Grandisson, executive chairman of Vantage, bought 25,000 shares on September 23 at a weighted average of $64.1175, with trades from $63.74 to $64.75, for $1,602,938, lifting his direct holding 35% to 96,943 shares. 12 Andrew D. Davis, chief operating officer of Howard Hughes Communities, bought 1,000 shares the same day at $64.49, $64,490. 28
Company context. Howard Hughes closed its $2.1 billion all-cash purchase of the specialty insurer Vantage Group Holdings on June 4, 2026, funded in part by $1.0 billion of Series A non-voting exchangeable perpetual preferred stock issued to a Pershing Square affiliate. 29 Second-quarter results on August 5 reported net income attributable to common stockholders of $158.4 million against a $12.1 million loss a year earlier, on total revenues of $1.12 billion. Vantage, included for the June 4–30 stub period, contributed $97.2 million of net earned premiums and a $20.8 million pre-tax loss at a 95% combined ratio, while master-planned communities earned $134.7 million before tax, up 32%. 30 Grandisson was named Vantage's executive chairman on July 16, 2026, with David Gansberg to become its chief executive no later than June 2027. 31 Pershing Square's Bill Ackman holds 27,852,064 shares, 46.6% of the company, with voting power capped at 40% under a standstill agreement dated May 5, 2025, and the annual meeting is set for September 30 in New York. 32 The shares closed at $68.43 on September 25, five sessions after closing at $60.22, the lowest close of the past twelve months. 13
Track record. This is Grandisson's first reported purchase of Howard Hughes shares. The issuer's retrievable history, which runs from May 2025, holds three earlier purchases by company insiders: director R Scot Sellers bought 5,000 shares at $77.94 on December 23, 2025, general counsel Joseph Valane bought 1,260 at $64.45 on March 13, 2026, and Jose Miguel Bustamante bought 700 at $70.00 on May 19, 2025. 33 Six months on, Sellers' purchase was down 13.8% and Valane's down 5.4%; Bustamante's was up 18.7% six months on and down 11.4% twelve months on. One of the three measurable six-month outcomes is positive, and the median is −5.4%, a sample too small to be a pattern.
Current mark. At the September 25 close of $68.43, the purchase is up 6.73%. 13
Signal read. The man Ackman brought in to chair the insurance platform the company just bought spent $1.6 million on the stock a week before the meeting where management presents the plan to shift capital from real estate into that platform.

5. Cybin, doing business as Helus Pharma (HELP)

Transaction. Chief executive Michael Halstead bought 100,000 common shares on September 21 at a weighted average of $13.4705, with trades from $13.395 to $13.53, for $1,347,050, lifting his direct holding 146% to 168,568 shares. 14
Company context. Cybin develops serotonergic drugs and leads with HLP003, an oral deuterated psilocin analog in a Phase 3 program called PARADIGM, testing it as an add-on treatment for major depressive disorder. The company adopted the business name Helus Pharma on January 5, 2026, when it moved its U.S. listing to the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker HELP, and shareholders approved the legal name change to Helus Pharma Inc. on September 22, effective October 1. 34 On the day of the purchase the company presented four posters at Psych Congress 2026 covering twelve-month efficacy results for HLP003 and the design of the Phase 3 trial, and the filings still use the Cybin name and ticker. 35 It held $166.4 million of cash at June 30, 2026. 36 The shares closed at $12.61 on September 25, 6.4% below the purchase price and 226% above the twelve-month closing low of $3.87 on June 10, 2026. 15
Track record. The retrievable record for this issuer begins on August 31, 2026, and this September 21 purchase is Halstead's first entry in it. Two other officers did the buying in that stretch. Executive chairman Eric H. L. So bought 95,000 shares at $11.81 on September 1, 100,000 at $12.09 on September 4 and 100,000 at $12.39 on September 8, $3,569,045 in total. 373839 Chief growth officer Paul Glavine bought 90,000 shares at $11.59 on August 31, 100,000 at $11.78 on September 3 and 100,000 at $12.47 on September 8, $3,468,147, with two filings for September 8 that report the same shares and are counted once here. 404142 The oldest of those purchases is four weeks old, making this the first cluster in the record whose outcome can be followed.
Current mark. At the September 25 close of $12.61, the purchase is down 6.38%. 15
Signal read. Three officers bought on seven trade dates from August 31 to September 21, about $8.38 million in all, and only the chief executive's falls inside this window. The buying has run into a share price that nearly quadrupled from its June low.

Exclusions and classification notes

  • CEMEX (CX): director Rogelio Zambrano Lozano reported 400,800 ordinary participation certificates on September 25 at a weighted average of 17.2812, with the filing stating the price in Mexican pesos and the transaction ranges as 17.20–17.34 pesos. 2 At the Federal Reserve's September 18 rate of 17.2454 pesos to the dollar, the purchase is about $402,000, below the threshold. The holding is also indirect, registered to the director's spouse. 3
  • Electra Therapeutics (ETRA): OrbiMed Advisors LLC and its board designee Carl L. Gordon each reported 1,333,333 shares at $15.00 on September 21, $19,999,995 apiece, covering the same shares bought in the issuer's initial public offering that closed that day. 45 The screen counts purchases the buyer chose to make; an allocation at the offer price is priced by the offering itself.
  • Corebridge Financial (CRBG): The screen counts executives and directors, and Nippon Life Insurance is a 10% owner of Corebridge. It reported $7,465,942 on September 21, $10,185,396 on September 22 and $7,484,665 on September 23. Each filing carries the Rule 10b5-1 checkbox and a footnote stating the purchases were made under a plan the insurer adopted on August 7, 2026. 434445
  • Lennar (LEN): Berkshire Hathaway bought 1,679,700 Class A shares at $81.19 on September 23, $136,382,789, after $212,395,151 on September 17. The screen covers executives and directors; Berkshire Hathaway is a 10% owner of Lennar. 46
  • Goosehead Insurance (GSHD): Durable Capital Partners LP, a 10% owner, bought 150,000 shares at $47.32 on September 22, $7,098,000, through Durable Capital Master Fund LP. 47
  • Bank Bradesco (BBD), filed late from the previous window: 21 filings by officers and directors on trade date September 18, all at the same reported price of 17.98 reais, for a combined 26,953,227 reais. They reached the data providers on September 22, after the previous edition of this screen had gone out, and at the September 18 rate of 5.1596 reais to the dollar the total is about $5.2 million across 21 buyers. 4849 These sit outside this week's trade-date window and, in dollars, below the per-purchase threshold.
  • Globalstar (GSAT), filed late from the previous window: director and 10% owner James Monroe III bought 361,600 shares at $82.52 on September 18, $29,839,232, filed on September 21. The trade date falls in the window the previous edition covered rather than this one. 50
  • Below the line: three purchases came close without clearing $1 million. Dick's Sporting Goods chief financial officer Navdeep Gupta bought 7,707 shares at $129.75 on September 22 for $999,983, $17 short, and director Larry Fitzgerald Jr. added 1,860 shares at $131.67 the next day for $244,906. 5152 Uxin director Li Bin reported 104,931,794 Class A shares at $0.0095 on September 23, $996,852, through an investment vehicle. 53 Axia Energia director Pedro Batista de Lima Filho reported $960,050 of purchases on September 21 at a weighted average converted from Brazilian reais, spread across six accounts his firm manages. 54

Bottom line

Strip out the peso-quoted CEMEX filing and the Electra IPO allocation and this week has five signals, and they are unusually concentrated: two founders committing $56.3 million between them, and three smaller purchases of $1.35 million to $4.61 million. What separates the two halves is the track record. Cohen's prior purchases have been followed by gains over six months in both cases where that could be measured; for the other four buyers this is the first purchase the record can measure, so what a reader has is the position, the price against the current mark, and the company news of the week itself.
