Amazon deal radar: June 7, 2026 — second consecutive zero, 16 days to Prime Day
Day 7 (penultimate day) of Amazon's Mid-Year Sale delivers a second consecutive zero-gate-clearer result. The two closest near-misses — the NETVUE Birdfy Smart Feeder at $0.01 above its 3P all-time low (Amazon-direct OOS) and the Traeger Pro 34 Pellet Grill at $24 above ATL — are both dissected with full price math and explicit skip verdicts. Olay Regenerist moved further from deal territory with a $4.80 overnight price increase. The Slickdeals drought technically ended (3 deals ≥50 votes), but all are low-value consumables. Cashback portals remain effectively 0% for existing members across Rakuten, TopCashback, and Honey. Article closes with a Prime Day (June 23–26) wait framework and the one exception: WONDERBOOM 4, which should be bought on sight if it restocks at ATL.

Kitchen surfaced one new candidate — the GreenPan Frost Ice Cream Maker & Slushie Machine (ASIN B0FF9G6GTR) at $249.99 (37.5% off $399.99), flagged by a Food & Wine early Prime Day roundup — but CamelCamelCamel (a third-party price-history tracker) confirms it is $10 above its Amazon all-time low of $239.99 set in December 2025. 1 The carry-over kitchen items from prior days are either out of stock or above their ATLs.
Outdoor is the same story as Day 6: Traeger Pro 34 Pellet Grill at $499 is $24 above its ATL of $474.99. In stock, but Gate 1 fails. 2 Beauty moved in the wrong direction: the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream price rose $4.80 overnight to $23.99, now 88% above its ATL. 3 Electronics and home are flat — no new entries, no movement toward ATL on any carry-over.
The Slickdeals six-day Amazon deal drought technically broke today: three Amazon deals crossed the 50-vote threshold. The items — a Stanley vacuum bottle at $24.01 (60 votes), a 64-oz Ocean Spray juice at $2.37 (81 votes), and a 4K Blu-ray of Requiem for a Dream at $11.49 (51 votes) — are consumables and low-dollar impulse buys, not the kind of item this radar covers. 4

Why nothing qualifies — the two closest calls
NETVUE Birdfy Smart Bird Feeder (B0BWDSH9CZ) — $99.99 via third-party, $0.01 above ATL
The Birdfy (a WiFi-enabled bird feeder with AI-assisted bird-species recognition camera) is at $99.99 from third-party sellers — literally one cent above its 3P all-time low of $99.98, set December 10, 2025. 5 Amazon-direct has no price history on CCC, meaning Amazon has never been the primary seller for this ASIN. The 1¢ gap is almost meaningless in isolation, but the structural issue — no Amazon-direct fulfillment, no Subscribe & Save eligibility, no cashback — keeps it off the board.
Verdict — skip. If you want this item and are comfortable buying from a third-party seller, $99.99 is effectively an ATL price. That's a legitimate personal call. The deal radar's standard requires Amazon-direct fulfillment; this doesn't meet it.
Traeger Pro 34 Pellet Grill (B07GL7PNPQ) — $499, in stock, but not at the floor
The Traeger Pro 34 (a 884-square-inch pellet grill, 4.5 stars across 2,000+ reviews) passes Gates 2 and 3 cleanly: 32% off a ~$730 street price, and it has the review volume to back up the quality signal. 2 What keeps it off today's board: the Amazon ATL is $474.99, last reached June 26, 2024. At $499, you're paying $24.01 — about 5% — more than the historical floor. Amazon currently has it in stock directly.
The question for anyone watching this item: outdoor grills do see Prime Day pricing. Last summer's ATL was on Prime Day itself. With 16 days until Prime Day (June 23–26), waiting is the rational move unless the $24 gap doesn't matter to your budget.
Near-miss watch board
Items that were close yesterday and remain tracked today:
- UE WONDERBOOM 4 (B0BRXJVG1S): OOS Day 12+. Amazon ATL $51.44 (48.6% off $99.99), confirmed May 27. No restock detected. Still the highest-confidence item on this board if stock returns before Prime Day. 6
- AirPods Pro 3 (B0FQFB8FMG): $199. ATL $184 (Feb 3, 2026). Needs to reach ≤$186.99 to pass Gate 1 — currently $12.01 short. 7
- Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant (B00949CTQQ): Amazon-direct still OOS. 3P New at $25.90, no S&S available. 8
- Ninja Air Fryer AF150AMZ (B08QKTXT1N): CCC now accessible after three runs blocked. Amazon price $109.99, confirmed ATL $89.00 (Nov 12, 2023). $20.99 above ATL — further away than the $99.99 carry-over estimate. 9
- Olay Regenerist (B0011DNXC2): Price rose to $23.99 from $19.19 overnight. Moving away from deal territory, not toward it. Dropped from active tracking. 3
Cashback portals: current status
| Portal | Amazon cashback rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Rakuten | $5 flat (new members only) | Existing members: 0%. The page states "Amazon is no longer affiliated with Rakuten." |
| TopCashback | Devices only | Restricted to Kindle, Ring, Fire Tablet, Echo. No cashback on general categories. |
| Honey | No deal feed | No Amazon trending deals page. Coupons catalog only. |
If you're a new Rakuten member and your order qualifies (≥$25, within 60 days of sign-up), the $5 flat is real but only applies to your first three purchases. For everyone else, stack strategies are off the table until these rates change.
16 days to Prime Day
Amazon Prime Day 2026 runs June 23–26. The Mid-Year Sale ends June 8 — tomorrow is the final day.
The two-day zero-gate stretch during the sale's penultimate days isn't a surprise. Mid-Year Sale pricing historically softens ahead of Prime Day rather than hitting new lows — retailers use the sale window to clear inventory at prices that are good but not historic. The items that will likely see genuine ATL pricing (Traeger, Ninja appliances, AirPods, WONDERBOOM 4 if it restocks) have one structural reason to wait: Prime Day is where the historical floors were set for most of these categories last year.
The one exception worth noting: if the WONDERBOOM 4 restocks at or below its May 27 price of $51.44 before Prime Day, that price is confirmed ATL and won't be improved upon by waiting. That's the only current board item where "buy if it shows up" beats "wait for Prime Day."
