Euphoria Season 3 finale, May 31, 2026. Rue hallucinates Fez out of prison. She drives to find him. In the hallucination: a sunlit field, two friends cracking beers, looking at the horizon together.

The footage is real. A forgotten test reel from Season 1 production, shot on discontinued Kodak Ektachrome film. Sam Levinson found it after Angus Cloud's death. He used it in the finale.

Angus Cloud died of an accidental fentanyl overdose on July 31, 2023. He was 25 years old.

That's the source material. A hallucination. A sunlit field. Discontinued film. Performed as Berlin underground club techno — 140 BPM, industrial 4/4 kick drum, cold Berghain warehouse production, flat deadpan vocals — with complete mechanical sincerity.
