月照断弦 · Moonlight on the Snapped String

Moonlight falls on a snapped qin string in a fifth-watch chamber. The absent player is remembered through the one note the instrument can no longer complete. Dizi carries the thin breath between phrases; sparse guqin resonance keeps the room open, and the chorus gathers toward a promise to restring the qin when the traveler returns.

Listen late at night, while reading, or after the room has gone quiet. The song moves from a broken note to a dream in which the old melody can still be finished.
