Jasmine Jang's Garden Voices arrives Friday

Queens-based Chinese-American indie songwriter Jasmine Jang follows today's "Bird & Basket" premiere with her 12-song album Garden Voices on July 31 and a Cambridge show on Aug. 27.

Jasmine Jang has a new single out in the world this week, and her third record follows on Friday.
The Queens-based Chinese-American singer/songwriter's 12-track Garden Voices arrives July 31. Its current entry point is "Bird & Basket," a light, lilting song about old love, heartbreak, and acceptance. 1 2 3
On Aug. 27, Jang plays Club Passim in Cambridge, with doors at 7 PM and the show at 8 PM. Tickets are $30, or $28 for members, with Louie Lou Louis and Allie Chip. 4
