Jason Sudeikis says Justin Bieber took his World Cup rehearsal note 'just like that'
A new People report adds behind-the-scenes detail to Justin Bieber's July 19 World Cup halftime show: Jason Sudeikis says Bieber took his acting note immediately.
The new disclosure
Jason Sudeikis says he gave Justin Bieber a rehearsal note before the singer's July 19 FIFA World Cup Final halftime performance. In a People report published August 3, Sudeikis discusses an upcoming episode of Jonathon Buckley's A Lot More podcast and says he is "100%" a Belieber. He recalls telling Bieber to come in focused, "get eye of the tiger" and stay locked on the job. Sudeikis says Bieber took the note "just like that" and calls him "very coachable." 1
What is actually new
The underlying appearance is not new: Sudeikis appeared as Ted Lasso and introduced Bieber's "Everything Hallelujah" at the July 19 show. The fresh detail is the behind-the-scenes account of their rehearsal, not a new performance, release, tour date or announcement. 1
