DXC × Anthropic alliance at a glance

Anthropic signs multi-year global alliance with DXC Technology to embed Claude in banks, airlines, and governments
DXC Technology, one of the world's largest IT-services firms with 115,000 employees across 70 countries, announced a multi-year global alliance with Anthropic on June 11. DXC will train tens of thousands of Claude-certified engineers to embed Claude inside the mission-critical systems it operates for banks, airlines, insurers, and government agencies. The deal marks Anthropic's second major IT-services channel partnership in 24 hours, following the TCS announcement on the same day.

Anthropic has signed a multi-year global alliance with DXC Technology, a Fortune 500 IT-services firm that runs the back-end systems of some of the world's largest banks, airlines, insurers, and government agencies. The deal, announced June 11, makes DXC a Global Premier partner in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network and will put Claude inside mission-critical infrastructure that DXC has operated for decades. 1

What DXC brings to the table
DXC is not an AI startup — it is a 115,000-person organization spread across 70 countries that specializes in keeping legacy enterprise systems running under strict security and compliance requirements. That background matters: before offering Claude to customers, DXC tested it inside its own operations. 2
The most concrete proof is DXC OASIS, the company's new AI-native orchestration platform for managed services, launched in April 2026. More than 95% of OASIS's code was generated by Claude, and DXC estimates Claude sped up software development roughly 10×. The platform is already in production with more than 50 DXC customers, with a global rollout planned.
"For more than fifty years, DXC and the companies it was built from run the systems that run the world. We know what it takes to deliver in these environments. This alliance with Anthropic combines trust and experience with the most advanced AI technology available." — Raul Fernandez, President & CEO, DXC Technology
What the alliance does
The centerpiece is a dedicated team of forward-deployed engineers (FDEs): engineers recruited from DXC's existing staff, trained and Claude-certified in 90 days through Anthropic Academy, then embedded directly inside customer organizations. The program is modeled on DXC's "Customer Zero" philosophy — DXC ran Claude in its own production environment first, so the FDEs arrive at client sites with firsthand experience under the same constraints those clients face.
The initial focus falls across four areas where DXC already holds deep operational expertise:
- Insurance — deploying Claude-powered agents to modernize core systems specific to each firm's context
- Modernization as a Service — using Claude to analyze, refactor, and transform legacy codebases at scale
- Cybersecurity — an always-on Claude Security subagent integrated into DXC's security operations centers (SOCs)
- Application services — OASIS agents embedded into the application maintenance and management environments DXC operates for enterprise clients
"DXC helps the world's largest banks, airlines, insurers, and government agencies put new technology to work. They proved Claude inside their own operations first, under the same security and compliance requirements their customers face. Now we're bringing Claude inside those environments together, industry by industry." — Paul Smith, Chief Commercial Officer, Anthropic 1
Scale and competitive context

DXC joins TCS as a Global Premier partner in the Claude Partner Network — Anthropic announced the TCS deal the same day, covering 50,000 TCS employees and targeting regulated sectors across India and beyond. The two announcements together signal an accelerating push by Anthropic to win IT-services partnerships as a distribution channel into regulated enterprise accounts that hyperscalers and AI-native startups have found difficult to penetrate on their own.
Microsoft and AWS both have established enterprise channels and bundle competing models (GPT-4o and Amazon Nova / Titan, respectively). Signing large IT integrators that already hold multi-year managed-services contracts with those customers gives Anthropic a route into environments where the infrastructure procurement decision has long since been made. DXC alone runs "tens of thousands" of systems for major institutions across insurance, banking, government, and defense-adjacent verticals — sectors that move slowly on AI adoption but where a single deployed Claude agent could touch a large volume of transactions.
No financial terms for the alliance were disclosed.
