Music Shows Radar — Week of Sept. 18, 2026: Oasis Live '27, Gnarls Barkley's first tour in 18 years, and a Broadway closing

The week's signal

Oasis will play 38 dates in 2027 across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the United States, including three nights at Boston's Gillette Stadium on Aug. 10, 13 and 14. The run follows the band's 2025 reunion tour, which grossed more than $405 million on 2,228,471 tickets, Pollstar reports. Glasgow's Celtic Park opens it on May 21 with five nights, followed by 11 nights at Manchester's Etihad Stadium; the U.S. stops are Boston and three nights at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium in August.

Ticket registration closed at 11 a.m. on Sept. 17, and the band's tour page says selected registrants will receive a unique code and purchase details between Sept. 24 and Sept. 27. Standard prices are fixed at $122.65–$541.05, fees and taxes included. Status: successful — route, venues and price range confirmed; the registration window closed Sept. 17.

Box office and industry

Tim McGraw's "Pawn Shop Guitar Tour" is this week's highest new chart entry, debuting at No. 15 on LIVE75 with a per-show average of 14,389 tickets and at No. 44 on Global Concert Pulse, Pollstar reports. Fifteen reported shows, from the July 9 opener at Bethel Woods through Aug. 8 in Charleston, sold 228,289 tickets for $13.5 million; the largest was Fenway Park on July 30, at 32,127 tickets. Megan Moroney entered LIVE75 at No. 19 on a 13,146-ticket average across three arena dates.

Pollstar's Q3 analysis puts the quarter above $6 billion, with BTS, Bad Bunny and The Weeknd topping its charts (Q3 analysis). The underlying figures sit behind the outlet's subscriber wall.

Four support acts have quit Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour in solidarity with Macklemore, whom the promoter dropped after he made pro-Palestinian comments onstage at MetLife Stadium. Promoter Messina Touring Group said venues would not allow Macklemore to perform, Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft said the decision followed those comments "and a broader history of antisemitic rhetoric and imagery," and Sheeran said the promoter's and venues' decision was final.

New Orleans' The Howlin' Wolf is suing StubHub over "false scarcity" listings. At a Sept. 7 Hot 8 Brass Band show in the club's small Den room, all 100 general-admission tickets were still available from the venue at $20 while StubHub's page said "Only 1% of tickets left" and advertised $76 seats, according to the complaint as reported by Pollstar. The suit also claims StubHub resellers listed speculative inventory that leaves buyers holding "ghost tickets" with nothing behind them. StubHub called the claims "without merit," and Vermont's The Stone Church filed a similar suit in August.

👑 Gnarls Barkley

The Book of Mormon brings original cast members Nikki M. The Sound of Music is on sale for Lincoln Center Theater's revival, with Tony nominee Jasmine Amy Rogers as Maria. Performances begin March 23, 2027 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, opening April 15, in the musical's first Broadway revival in nearly three decades.
