Shadow shape charades

If the afternoon has gone a little flat, try shadow shape charades. You need one patch of light and about five minutes. That patch can come from sunshine on a wall, a lamp pointed at a blank surface, or a small flashlight held by an adult. The game is simple: someone makes a shadow with hands, arms, or a safe toy, and everyone else guesses what it is. Then you add one tiny story sentence together.
