Ilyra Voss — Moonwell Warden. She carries the only lantern that can light a path through the well's reflected dark, and she has promised to bring it home empty.
Nox Bellweather — Tide-Sworn Revenant. The bell at his throat rings only when the dead are near; he follows it because the living stopped calling.
Tavi Hollowcrown — Mireling Cartographer. Tavi maps roads that appear only in still water, then redraws them whenever the moon changes its mind.
Eira Saltglass — Drowned Saint. She remembers the kingdom before it sank, but every name she speaks leaves another pearl in her hair.
