Teiken Promotions decided four titles on one card in Tokyo 2. In England, Liam Davies stopped Nathaniel Collins in Birmingham and Johnny Fisher survived a majority decision in London 34. UFC: Rosas Jr. stops Barcelos in the fifth, then a hospital scare

UFC Vegas 121 took place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, with prelims at 5:00 p.m. ET and the main card at 8:00 p.m. ET on Paramount+ 7. Raul Rosas Jr. (13-1) stopped Raoni Barcelos (22-6) at 1:38 of the fifth round of the bantamweight main event 18.
Barcelos was ahead on all three scorecards going into the fifth round, having taken rounds two through four after Rosas won the first 19. Rosas took him down in the fifth and Barcelos went limp; the Brazilian was carried out of the arena on a stretcher 10. The UFC said he was taken to a Level 1 trauma center, where a CT scan and a comprehensive assessment left him “stable, alert and responsive, with full movement” 11.
Barcelos’s head coach, Davi Ramos, said his fighter had his senses back and was moving all four limbs 11. The doctor treating him, Gustavo Medeiros, said Barcelos was lucid and oriented, and would stay in hospital for a few days of observation as a matter of protocol 11.
The co-main event went to Ailin Perez (14-2), who beat Norma Dumont (13-4) by unanimous decision, 29-28 on all three cards, in a women’s bantamweight bout that ended with security stepping in 18. Luis Hernandez (9-0) needed 57 seconds to submit Sedriques Dumas (10-6) with a standing guillotine, in his UFC debut and on two days’ notice after Mickey Gall was pulled from the card 19.
The rest of the card:
  • Bantamweight: Ilimbek Akylbek Uulu (11-3) won by disqualification after Mehemmedeli Osmanli (12-2) landed an illegal knee at 2:19 of Round 1 that left Uulu unable to continue 18.
  • Women’s strawweight: Valesca Machado (16-4), who fights as Tina Black, stopped Melissa Amaya (8-1) at 3:19 of Round 2 to win Season 34 of The Ultimate Fighter 810.
  • Bantamweight: Brady Hiestand (10-2) submitted Rinya Nakamura (10-2) with a rear-naked choke at 4:07 of Round 2, the first time Nakamura has been finished 810.
  • Middleweight: Rodolfo Vieira (12-5) beat Robert Bryczek (18-8) on a unanimous decision, 30-27 on all three cards 8.
  • Light heavyweight: Christian Edwards (9-5) stopped Rodolfo Bellato (13-4-1) at 1:47 of Round 3 8.
  • Lightweight: Elves Brener (17-6) knocked out Josiah Harrell (11-2) at 4:14 of Round 1, his first win in nearly three years 810.
  • Bantamweight: Montel Jackson (16-4) knocked out Ricky Simon (22-8-1) at 2:39 of Round 2, eight years after Simon beat him in his UFC debut 810.
  • Bantamweight: Alatengheili (18-10-2) beat John Castaneda (21-9-1) on a split decision 18.
  • Women’s strawweight: Yazmin Jauregui (12-2) knocked out Vanessa Demopoulos (11-9) at 1:02 of Round 1, in her first fight in more than two years 810.
The UFC paid four $100,000 bonuses 10. Rosas Jr. and Barcelos took $100,000 each for Fight of the Night; Luis Hernandez and Yazmin Jauregui took $100,000 each for Performance of the Night. Five fighters collected $25,000 finish bonuses: Machado, Hiestand, Edwards, Brener and Jackson 10.

Boxing: Inoue survives a knockdown as four Tokyo belts are decided

Teiken Promotions staged four title fights at Toyota Arena in Tokyo on Sunday, September 27, in front of an announced crowd of 10,000 2. WBC bantamweight champion Takuma Inoue (23-2) kept his belt with a unanimous decision over Tenshin Nasukawa (8-2), scored 116-111, 116-111 and 114-113 2.
Inoue led through the first four rounds. Nasukawa dropped him with a southpaw left in the seventh, and after eight rounds the open scoring showed the fight split: 77-74 twice for Inoue, 75-76 for Nasukawa 2. Inoue landed the cleaner short combinations over the last four rounds to close it out. It was the second defense of his title 2.
Australian Sam Goodman (23-1) won the interim IBF junior featherweight title on a unanimous decision over Ryosuke Nishida (11-2), 114-111, 116-109 and 115-110 12. Referee Deon Dwarte deducted a point from each man in the seventh round, one for a Goodman headbutt and one for a Nishida low blow, then took another point from Nishida in the tenth. Nishida’s team said the penalties would be assessed at IBF headquarters 12.
Ricardo Malajika (18-2) took the vacant WBC super flyweight title on a split decision over Tomoya Tsuboi (3-1-1, 1 NC), 116-112 and 115-113 for Malajika and 115-113 for Tsuboi 13. Tsuboi was cut over the forehead in the first and seventh rounds, and Malajika landed the better shots in the championship rounds 13. Ryusei Matsumoto (9-0) won the interim WBO minimumweight title on a unanimous decision over the previously unbeaten Russell Acosta (17-1), 115-113, 116-112 and 118-110 14.
The night before in Fuji, Shizuoka, IBF junior flyweight champion Thanongsak Simsri (41-1) stopped Mark Vicelles (21-3-1) at 2:05 of the second round 15. Vicelles took the first round on aggression; Simsri floored him with a straight right in the second, put him down again, and the referee stopped it 15.

Boxing: Davies stops Collins, Fisher edges Pirotton, Lebron lands a knockout of the year

Liam Davies (19-1) retained his European featherweight title at bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham on Saturday, retiring Nathaniel Collins (17-2-1) on his stool after seven rounds 3. A one-two put Collins down midway through the first round, and a left hand in the fourth opened a cut around his right eye that quickly swelled shut 3. Collins pleaded with his corner to let him continue; his trainer Joe Ham pulled him out after the seventh 3.
At Zuffa Boxing 11 in London, Johnny Fisher took a majority decision over Michael Pirotton in the heavyweight main event, 95-95, 98-92 and 96-95, for the 15th win of his career 4. Pirotton was cut on the left eyebrow in the second round, bled heavily from the fourth and kept pushing Fisher onto the back foot, but the heavier shots came from Fisher in the last round 4.
Radivoje Kalajdzic (31-3) won the light heavyweight co-main event on a unanimous decision, 97-92 on all three cards, dropping Craig Richards for the first time in his career just before the final bell 4. Lee Cutler (17-2) outpointed Louis Greene 98-92, 97-93 and 97-93 at middleweight, and Kayla Allen stopped Edina Kiss in the third round of her professional debut 4. Alex MacMillan, Rogelio Romero and Alexis de la Cerda also won on the card 4.
In Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Sultan Zaurbek (21-0) outpointed Jackson England (19-4) in an IBF junior lightweight final eliminator, 114-113, 117-110 and 116-111, after flooring him with a short right hook in the fourth round 16. The win makes Zaurbek the mandatory challenger for WBO and IBF junior lightweight champion Emanuel Navarrete 16.
Henry Lebron (22-0) knocked out Derlyn Hernandez (14-6-1) at 1:31 of the eighth round in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to win the WBO Global super featherweight title 17. Lebron landed a right hook that dropped Hernandez face forward, with Floyd Mayweather and Claressa Shields at ringside, then asked for the winner of the Navarrete–O’Shaquie Foster unification 17. Kiria Tapia (11-0) won the WBO NABO super featherweight title on a technical decision over Juliana Basualdo after a clash of heads cut her in the fifth round 17.
Henry Cejudo, the 2008 Olympic wrestling gold medalist and a two-division UFC champion, won his professional boxing debut at 39, taking a split decision over Javon Walton in Miami: 39-37 twice for Cejudo and 39-37 for Walton 18. Walton was a late replacement for Nurideen Shabazz, who withdrew two weeks before the fight 18.
  • Friday, Sept. 25 — Detroit: Dwane Taylor (10-1, 9 KOs) stopped Sam Rizzo (10-2, 6 KOs) at 0:58 of the eighth round of a junior lightweight main event, after Rizzo had won most of the middle rounds 19.
  • Saturday, Sept. 26 — Philadelphia: Kyrone Davis (21-4-1) beat former unified champion Jeison Rosario (24-6-2) on a unanimous decision, 97-93, 96-93 and 96-93, at middleweight; Tyreem Haywood (9-0, 9 KOs) stopped Abram Martinez in the second round for the WBA Fedelatin USA welterweight title 20.
  • Saturday, Sept. 26 — Los Angeles: Mai Soliman (10-2-1) and Maria Micheo (14-7-2) fought to a split draw in a WBC super flyweight title eliminator, 99-91 Soliman, 97-93 Micheo and 95-95; Otar Eranosyan (18-0, 9 KOs) kept the WBA NABA super featherweight title on a unanimous decision over Duvan Zuleta (10-1-1) 21.
  • Saturday, Sept. 26 — Buenos Aires: Junior Andrés Narváez (8-0-1), the son of former world champion Omar Narváez, beat Jonathan Cisneros (21-3) on a unanimous decision for the FEDELATIN bantamweight title, and Jose Francisco Agüero (16-0, 8 KOs) knocked out the previously unbeaten Brian Rodriguez (12-1) in the third round for the WBA Gold super featherweight title 22.
  • Saturday, Sept. 26 — Pattaya, Thailand: Marlon Tapales (42-5) stopped Nirun Baonok in the second round for the WBF International featherweight title, and Criztian Laurente (17-0) stopped Benchalong Tanbu in the third for the WBF Intercontinental lightweight title 23.

Storylines to watch

  • The UFC women’s flyweight title is vacant because Valentina Shevchenko gave up the belt with an injury that is expected to keep her out for up to a year; her coach described shoulder and back ligament damage 28. Natalia Silva is 20-5-1 and unbeaten in nearly nine years, with six of her eight UFC wins going to the scorecards 26. Wang Cong has won four straight, while missing weight at 127.5 pounds for one of those wins, and she will have no one-pound allowance in a title fight 26.
  • Whittaker and Wallace are fighting for the right to challenge for the IBF light heavyweight title held by Dmitry Bivol 2729.
  • Zaurbek’s eliminator win sets him up as Navarrete’s mandatory challenger, behind a Navarrete–Foster three-belt unification that is booked for October 24 16.
  • WBC heavyweight champion Agit Kabayel will defend against the unbeaten Nelson Hysa on November 28 in Düsseldorf, after five other contenders were considered for the fight 30.
