Mandala #12 — Mg: Magnesio (Magnesium)
Element 12 · Mg · Magnesio
Blinding white flame
A brilliant white-burning metal — the core of chlorophyll, structural in bones, dazzling in fireworks.
Burning magnesium produces such intense white light (3100K) that it cannot be extinguished with water — water feeds it. Magnesium sits at the center of every chlorophyll molecule, enabling photosynthesis. It is the fourth most common element in the Earth's crust.
50 Mandalas de Elementos Químicos — a sacred geometry digital art series where science and beauty converge. Each mandala's palette, pattern, and structure is inspired by the element's atomic character, crystal structure, reactivity, and visual identity.
