The Financial Times reported on June 5 that Meta Platforms is exploring a stock issuance of "tens of billions of dollars" to fund Mark Zuckerberg's AI infrastructure build-out. 21 Meta has not hired banks and may decide against an issuance. Meta's stock fell more than 5% on June 5 — from approximately $593 to near $560.
