Week of June 4, 2026 · The FGC's Biggest Moves Right Now
🐉 DBFZ: Goku (SS4, DAIMA) Is Here
The wait is over. Goku (Super Saiyan 4, DAIMA) has officially landed in Dragon Ball FighterZ as a new DLC character. His move showcase dropped May 22, 2026, spotlighting the Super Dragon Fist — a ground-only rising uppercut that sends opponents skyward. The character was first teased during the EVO France 2025 trailer.
The reveal timing wasn't random. Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 — held April 19–20 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles — put SS4 Goku front and center. The event's trophy itself was sculpted in his likeness, and the DBFZ Masters Showdown running alongside it delivered one of the year's best FGC moments: GO1 vs. SonicFox in the opening round set the crowd on fire. When the dust settled, Hikari claimed the Masters Showdown title, topping Gropis in a hard-fought grand finals. Six invitees plus a Last Chance Qualifier made the field of eight.
