Too Special to Eat All at Once

A city guy spots the most extraordinary pig on a rural farm — but there's something odd about it. One leg is wooden.

He pulls over, walks up to the fence, and flags down the farmer: "Excuse me, why does your pig have a wooden leg?"

The farmer lights up. "Oh, let me tell you about Barnaby. Last year the barn caught fire while I was working inside — trapped under a beam, unconscious. Barnaby ran through the flames, grabbed me by the collar, dragged me out, then ran back in to warn my wife. Saved the whole family."

The city man stares. "That's incredible. But... why the wooden leg?"

"That's not all," the farmer continues. "Few months later, my youngest boy fell into the deep end of the farm pond. Barnaby dived straight in, kept the kid afloat, pushed him safe to shore."

"Unbelievable! Barnaby is a genuine hero — but you still haven't told me about the wooden leg!"

The farmer sighs, shakes his head, and looks at the city man like he said the dumbest thing imaginable:
