Marriott Bonvoy hotels — $150 back on $375+, expires July 22. Homes & Villas by Marriott — $250 back on $1,000+, book by May 22. 2 If you have a $2,000+ Homes & Villas stay planned before January 3, 2027, this combination is worth stacking: a 40,000 bonus points promotion (roughly $280–400 in value depending on redemption) plus a $250 Amex Offer statement credit. The 40K points promotion requires booking by May 22, 2026 and a minimum 2-night stay. Car rental — Avis $80 on $400+

Avis is running a targeted offer through July 31, 2026: $80 back after spending $400 or more, which amounts to 20% back on the minimum qualifying charge. Air travel — Amex Travel $200 flight credit

TravelUpdate reported a targeted Amex Offer granting a one-time $200 statement credit on qualifying flights booked through Amex Travel, surfaced around May 15. 4 The source page was unavailable for full retrieval, so the minimum spend threshold and expiry date are unconfirmed. If this offer appears in your account, the terms in your Amex app are the authoritative source for qualifying flight requirements.

Streaming — AMC+ up to $23.97 total

AMC+ (the streaming service from AMC Networks) is offering $7.99 back on each charge of $7.99 or more, up to three separate transactions, for a maximum of $23.97. 5 The offer expires September 15, 2026.

One confirmed gotcha: buying the $29.99 annual Premium plan in a single transaction triggers only $7.99 back — not the full $23.97. Reddit user u/StoneMenace confirmed this directly after trying it: "I did the 29.99 annual plan and got $7.99 back." 5 The offer wording — "$7.99 if you purchase $7.99 OR MORE" — means the credit fires once per transaction regardless of amount. To capture all three credits, you need three separate monthly charges at $7.99 each. The monthly ad-supported tier is $7.99, which makes it the right plan for this offer. 6

Net cost with all three credits applied: $29.99 × 3 months - $23.97 = roughly $66 for three months, or with the ad-supported tier, 3 × $7.99 - $23.97 = $0 out-of-pocket.

Hush — $550 back on $550 (check your account carefully)

Hush, a subscription platform, appears to have a 100% rebate offer for cardholders who see it: $550 back on a $550+ charge, expiring August 28, 2026. 7 The offer was confirmed on both a Blue Business Plus and a Blue Business Card; no reports have confirmed it on a personal Platinum as of May 19.

Cancellation is not instant. The r/amex post that surfaced this offer noted that cancelling the Hush subscription requires a 30-day processing window. The original poster received a confirmation showing access remaining through June 18 after calling to cancel. If you activate and charge this offer, calendar a cancellation call immediately — do not wait until the next billing cycle. 7

Stacking tip — double-dip on the FHR/THC $300 credit

Relevant if you're planning a summer hotel stay through Amex Travel: the Fine Hotels + Resorts (FHR) and The Hotel Collection (THC) $300 statement credit resets on a semi-annual basis — first-half January through June, second-half July through December. 8

A technique confirmed by r/amex community member u/RichInPitt: book two back-to-back stays rather than one extended stay. The first reservation (checkout on or before June 30) triggers the first-half credit; a second reservation booked after July 1 triggers the second-half $300 credit. "If you make a 2nd reservation for the 3rd and 4th night, after July 1, you will get the second half's $300 benefit, as you have made a 2 night THC stay in the second half of year." 8 Note that modifying dates on an existing reservation does not trigger a new credit — the second booking must be a new reservation.

The 4th-night-free benefit does require a single continuous 3-night booking, so split reservations forfeit that perk. Whether $300 in additional credit outweighs losing the 4th night free depends on the nightly rate; run the numbers for your specific stay.

Benefit cuts — two deadlines to keep on your calendar

These were first reported before May 15 and had no material updates this window. Brief reminders as both dates are approaching.

Saks Fifth Avenue $50 credit — use by June 30, 2026. The semi-annual Shop Saks benefit ($50 January–June, $50 July–December, up to $100/year) is being removed from the consumer Platinum Card on July 1, 2026. The July–December 2026 window will not exist. The January–June window is open through June 30 for all cardholders, with no minimum purchase. Enrollment required; check americanexpress.com/benefits.

Lufthansa lounge access — last day is September 30, 2026. Starting October 1, Amex Platinum cardholders lose access to Lufthansa lounges at Frankfurt Airport (Terminal 1, Departure Area B) and Munich Airport (Terminal 2 satellite building). Economy class on Lufthansa, SWISS, or Austrian qualifies for the Lufthansa Business Lounge through that date; business class qualifies for the Senator Lounge. Centurion cardholders retain first-class lounge access. No replacement access has been announced.

What to activate today

Priority order, based on value and time sensitivity:

Homes & Villas by Marriott — book by May 22 to capture the 40K bonus points alongside the $250 credit. This window closes in days.
Dish Network — if you're a new or eligible existing subscriber and it appears in your account, $80 on $89.99 is nearly 89% back. Add immediately; no published expiry.
Marriott Bonvoy hotels — if you have any Marriott stays through July 22, add this now. The $150 on $375 requires no advance booking window.
Avis car rental — if a rental is likely before July 31, tap to add. $80 on a $400 charge is 20% back.
AMC+ — low effort, near-zero cost if you subscribe monthly. Add the offer and set a calendar reminder for three monthly charges before September 15.
Amex Travel flight credit — check your account; if the $200 offer appears, confirm the terms directly in your app before booking.
Saks $50 credit — if you haven't used the January–June window yet, June 30 is the final deadline.
