Amex Platinum: Jun 30 Last Call

A same-day action brief for US Amex Platinum cardholders covering expiring June 30 credits, transfer bonuses, targeted offers, and July 1 watch items.

This transition issue covers a short window, from June 28 at 7:32 a.m. through June 30 at 7:00 a.m. in the channel's display time. It is not a full-week survey. The useful signal is the June 30 deadline stack: no new Platinum-exclusive Amex Offer surfaced in the checked sources, while multiple credits, transfer bonuses, and targeted offers expire today. 1 2
For a US-based American Express Platinum cardholder, the action order is: use credits that die today, transfer only for a booked award, enroll in targeted Amex Offers tied to real spending, and put the pulled Hilton and Virgin Atlantic bonuses on a July 1 watch list.

Saks Fifth Avenue Platinum creditUse in store or via Saks Pickup if the $50 January-June credit is still unused. 3 4Up to $50 for this half-yearJun 30, 2026Online orders are too risky at the deadline because Saks charges when the order ships. 4
Amex Platinum hotel creditBook prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts or The Hotel Collection through Amex Travel. 5Up to $300 for the first half of the yearJun 30, 2026The Hotel Collection requires a two-night minimum; future stays can qualify if prepaid through Amex Travel. 5
lululemon creditUse the enrolled Platinum credit at US lululemon stores, lululemon.com, or eligible non-outlet channels. 5 6Up to $75 for Q2Jun 30, 2026Enrollment is required before purchase. 5
Resy creditUse at a US Resy restaurant; a reservation is not required for the credit. 5Up to $100 for Q2Jun 30, 2026Enrollment is required, and unused Q2 credit does not roll over. 5
Flying Blue transfer bonusTransfer only if an Air France-KLM Flying Blue award is ready to book. 71,000 MR to 1,250 Flying Blue milesJun 30, 2026The strongest value case is paired with June Promo Rewards, including Europe-to-US economy examples from 15,000 Amex points one way. 7
Marriott Bonvoy transfer bonusTransfer only for a specific Marriott redemption. 8 91,000 MR to 1,200 Marriott Bonvoy pointsJun 30, 2026A 20% transfer bonus does not fix a weak hotel redemption. 8
Amazon MR redemption promoCheck Amazon if targeted and redeem the minimum MR needed at checkout. 10Up to 50% off, capped at $80Jun 30, 2026This is an Amazon/MR redemption promo, not a Platinum-exclusive Amex Offer. 10

The expiring Amex Offer cluster

The June 30 Amex Offer group is useful only if the offer appears in your account and the spending is already planned. The current list includes Hotels.com at 10X Membership Rewards on prepaid hotel bookings, a targeted Hyatt offer for $75 back on $300 or more, Delta Vacations at $200 back on $1,000 or more, Norwegian Cruise Line at $200 back on $1,000, and Dell at 5% to 13% back with a stated savings cap up to $1,000. 2 11
Do not treat those offers as free money. A $200 cruise or vacation credit still requires a $1,000 purchase, and the Hyatt credit requires eligible Hyatt spend of at least $300. 2 The clean use case is a bill or trip you were already going to pay today.
Two lower-priority items also sit in the June 30 stack. Frequent Miler lists a Rakuten referral bonus of 5,000 Membership Rewards points, 5,000 Bilt points, or $50 cash for both sides, but the current status was not independently confirmed in this research round. 2 Frequent Miler also notes that Turo's Amex Offer runs through December 31, 2026; the June 30 cutoff applies to Chase and Citi Offer components, not the Amex Offer. 2

Etihad is no longer a last-minute action

The Etihad Guest transfer window is already closed for US Amex Membership Rewards users. American Express ended Etihad Guest as a Membership Rewards transfer partner effective June 30, 2026, and the last US transfer day was June 29. 12
The practical replacement is not equivalent. Amex told AwardWallet that eligible cardmembers can still use Pay with Points through Amex Travel for Etihad flights, but that path is worth 1 cent per point in the cited coverage. 12 Citi ThankYou, Capital One, Bilt Rewards, and Rove Miles still support 1:1 transfers to Etihad Guest, so the action now is to update your mental list of transferable currencies rather than search Amex for a vanished partner. 12

July 1 watch list

The pulled Hilton and Virgin Atlantic transfer bonuses remain watch-only. The Amex-to-Hilton 20% bonus and Amex-to-Virgin Atlantic 30% bonus launched on June 23 and were pulled within 24 hours; AwardWallet and Doctor of Credit both reported the removal, and Doctor of Credit suspected the bonuses may have been intended for July 1. 13 14 15
Until those bonuses actually reappear in Amex, there is no enrollment or transfer action to take. Keep the award plan ready, but do not pre-transfer into Hilton or Virgin Atlantic on speculation.
Two other items belong on the calendar rather than today's action list. Amex to Avianca LifeMiles remains the confirmed active Amex transfer bonus at 15% through July 15, 2026. 8 Doctor of Credit reported that the targeted Sonesta Amex Offer for $60 back on $300 or more was extended to September 16, 2026, which makes it an existing targeted-offer extension rather than a new Platinum-exclusive drop. 16
CLEAR+ is a separate July 1 consideration. Upgraded Points reported that CLEAR+ pricing increases on July 1, 2026, which matters for Platinum cardholders using the CLEAR credit. 17 If your renewal timing is close, check the charge date before the new price takes effect.

Bottom line

Today is a cleanup day. Use Saks, lululemon, Resy, and the first-half hotel credit only if they remain unused; enroll in June 30 targeted Amex Offers only when the purchase is real; transfer Flying Blue or Marriott points only for an award you can book; and treat Hilton/Virgin as a July 1 check, not a June 30 chase.
