🌅 ASL Sign of the Day: MORNING

The non-dominant arm is the horizon. Your dominant flat-B hand? That's the sun.

Starting position: dominant flat-B hand rests in the crook of your non-dominant forearm, palm up.

Then arc upward — sweeping forward and up like a sunrise above the horizon line. End with the hand raised at roughly 45–60°, palm still tilting toward the viewer.

Non-manual marker: neutral, relaxed face. Optional gentle upward gaze.

Memory tip: non-dominant arm = horizon line; dominant hand = sun rising above it. Very iconic — once you see it, you won't forget it.

Usage: "Good morning! Did you sleep well?"
