SFO deal radar June 8 — United to D.C. from SJC, SAS to Tallinn, AA to Nantucket

Three fares posted June 6–7 are new to this issue: United SJC↔Washington Dulles at $284 Basic Economy ($394 Regular Economy) via Chicago, SAS SFO↔Tallinn at $683 Economy Light ($783 Regular Economy) via Copenhagen, and American SFO↔Nantucket at $254 Basic Economy ($364 Regular Economy) via Philadelphia — though the Nantucket dates are extremely thin. Two June 5 carryovers remain live: United's SFO↔Miami nonstop is now showing $259 (up $10 from the original TFD post), and Singapore Airlines SFO→Bali is still routing correctly at $930 via Singapore for April 2027.

On points, the Citi ThankYou → Preferred Hotels (30%) and Citi → Wyndham (25%) transfer bonuses expire June 13 — five days from today. Everything else on the active board runs through June 30.

Baseline: SFO–Nantucket roundtrip in summer typically runs $450–600. The $254 BE fare saves roughly $196–346.

United SFO ↔ Miami (MIA) — ~$259 BE nonstop

Travel window: now through early December 2026, or January–April 2027. Nonstop in both directions. Basic Economy restrictions apply (no advance seat assignment, carry-on $50/direction at the gate without United card or status). Regular Economy adds seat selection and standard carry-on.

Singapore Airlines SFO → Bali (DPS) — $930 RT via Singapore

Originally posted June 5. 9 Google Flights on June 7 confirmed the SFO–SIN–DPS routing on Singapore Airlines for April 2027, but the final price requires completing checkout at singaporeair.com (Google shows "check price" rather than a direct figure). 10

Travel window: April 2027 only. Sample dates: April 6–15. ITA Matrix shows $1,010; singaporeair.com reprices to $930 at booking. Up to two stopovers in Singapore permitted at $50 each. US passport holders enter Indonesia visa-on-arrival. Fare class K does not earn United MileagePlus redeemable miles.

Two bonuses that were on last week's board have expired: Chase Ultimate Rewards → Southwest Rapid Rewards (expired June 5) and Rove Miles → Aeroplan (expired June 6) are both confirmed removed from the active list.

Citi TYP → Qatar Avios (30%, through June 30): Community validation this week: one r/awardtravel user booked Oman Air business class Europe–Muscat roundtrip for approximately 106,000 Citi ThankYou Points after the 30% bonus, plus ~$567 in fees. The calculated value came out to 2.2 euro cents per Citi point. 13

Flying Blue (Amex MR → Flying Blue, 25% through June 30): SFO remains absent from Flying Blue's June 2026 Promo Rewards discounted award list. The 25% transfer bonus is active, but SFO travelers cannot stack it with discounted Promo Rewards awards this month. July's Promo Rewards list hasn't been published yet; check AwardWallet's Flying Blue page on July 1. 14

Program changes and notes

Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards: two separate deadlines. First, starting June 11 (three days away), Alaska eliminates Atmos miles and qualifying status credit earning on all Saver (basic economy) fares. This applies to tickets issued on or after June 11. 15 Second, the partner award booking fee rises from $12.50 to $20 per person per direction on July 1 — a 60% increase — with the call-center fee going from $15 to $30. If you have a partner award booking planned (Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, British Airways, and others relevant for SFO long-haul), issuing the ticket before July 1 locks in the current $12.50 rate. Free changes remain available after booking without re-paying the fee. 15

Philippine Airlines joining oneworld in 2027. PAL (Philippine Airlines) announced it will become oneworld's 16th member airline in 2027. 16 PAL Holdings President Lucio C. Tan III called it "a defining and transformative moment for Philippine Airlines." 16 Once live, this opens earning and redemption across all oneworld programs — American AAdvantage, British Airways Avios, Cathay Asia Miles, and others — on PAL metal. SFO–Manila is a relevant corridor; PAL operates that route nonstop with the A350. The membership is confirmed but no formal join date inside 2027 has been announced.
