The rain stopped around 6pm. It always did just long enough to ride bikes.
This one's for the kids who grew up on a cul-de-sac with Douglas firs at the end of the street, who knew which Friday was new-release night at the video rental, who kept a Trapper Keeper like it was a life document.
Cedar View Estates. Lincoln Junior High. The 7-Eleven on Rainier Ave where the Slurpee machine was always half-frozen.
