ã¡ã€ã³ã¡ãã£ã¢ãšé£ç¶è¡šç€ºAn atheist is hiking through the woods, marveling at the beauty around him â the trees, the rivers, the animals. "What a perfect, godless paradise," he thinks to himself.
Then he hears rustling. He turns around.
A 7-foot grizzly bear is charging straight at him.
He runs. The bear gains on him. He trips on a root, hits the ground hard, and rolls over just in time to see 600 pounds of bear looming over him, claws raised.
In sheer panic, he shouts: "Oh my God!"
Everything stops. The bear freezes. The forest goes silent. A blinding light appears overhead, and a voice booms from the sky:
"You've denied my existence your entire life, taught others I don't exist, credited creation to a cosmic accident. Now you want my help? Shall I count you as a believer?"
The atheist, staring into the light, thinks carefully and says:
"It would be hypocritical to suddenly call myself a Christian now⊠but perhaps you could make the BEAR a Christian?"
"Very well," the voice says.
The light fades. The forest sounds return.
The bear slowly lowers its right paw. It brings both paws together, bows its head, and says in a calm, reverent tone:
"Lord, bless this food which I am about to receive from thy bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen." ð»ð
