A man couldn't stand his wife's cat.
One day, he scooped up the cat, drove it to the end of the block, and let it out. When he got home — the cat was already there, sitting on the porch like nothing happened.
Undeterred, he drove it a few miles across the city and dropped it off again. He pulled into the driveway
 and the cat was already home, grooming itself.
Now he was determined. He loaded the cat into the car and drove it clear across the city, over the river, through the woods, and across three counties before opening the door and speeding off.
Several hours later, his wife picked up the ringing phone. It was her husband.
"Is the cat there?"
"
Yes."
"Well put him on the phone. I'm lost."
