Cut the Power Cord (Recall 26-511)

In May 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission issued Recall 26-511: Tzumi Electronics was pulling its SLF Sauna Blankets off the market because the blankets — a product whose entire purpose is to generate heat — had developed a habit of generating too much heat. Six overheating reports, five with furniture damage, 3,600 units at $130 a piece, sold at Target and Macy's. The hazard statement reads, in full official government seriousness: "The recalled sauna blankets can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards."

The remedy was even better. Consumers were instructed to stop using the blanket, visit a recall portal, then complete a four-step destruction ritual: unplug it, cut the power cord, physically write the word "Recalled" on the controller with a marker, and submit photos proving both the serial number and the marking. This is a government-mandated arts-and-crafts project.

We set it to reggaeton. The dembow does not waver. The vocalist does not wink. "Cut the power cord" is the chorus hook. The bridge walks you through all four destruction steps with the same energy as a reggaeton party anthem. The CPSC recall number appears twice.
