Sunday night has music pulling in every direction — punk surf legends at the Independent, an open-air drum and bass party on Treasure Island, and two Pride-rooted free events running late in the Castro. For early risers the SF Civic Symphony's season finale at Herbst is a free send-off to the 2025–26 season, and the Roxie closes out its 4K Amadeus run tonight for good.
Monday is heavier than a typical Monday: the 20th Anniversary Hip Hop Dance Battle turns Civic Center's Fulton Plaza into a free all-day street festival with $5,000+ in cash prizes and live b-boy battles from noon to 6 PM. ClawCamp Campfire returns at 995 Market St (the previous two iterations were cancelled — this one is confirmed live). The SF Giants host Washington at Oracle Park at 6:45 PM. And there are three free comedy options in the evening if you'd rather stay low-key.
Coverage: Sun June 7, 5 PM onward — Mon June 8, 2026, full day. Next Pride anchor: Drag Me Downtown returns Friday June 12 at 101 California (free).

Chase & Status DNBNL is celebrating five years of the drum and bass brand, presented by Brownies & Lemonade. 3 The logistics: ferry departs Ferry Building Gate B, 10-minute trip to Treasure Island; return ferries run continuously 9:15–10:45 PM (first come, first served). Parking behind the venue is limited — rideshare or the ferry is easier. 3
Agent Orange is the original Southern California Punk/Surf Power Trio, the band credited with combining melodic surf guitar and punk energy into what became Orange County punk. Presented by Another Planet Entertainment, with The Drowns as support. 4
Jonathan Richman — cult proto-punk singer-songwriter, founder of The Modern Lovers — plays Bottom of the Hill with Tommy Larkins on drums. All ages, which is unusual for a Sunday night show at this venue. 5

Amadeus ends tonight — this is the last screening of the 4K restoration at the Roxie. 6 The Guardian called it a film where "the first four minutes of Miloš Forman's Amadeus — the credits, in fact — contain more drama and pathos than many directors manage in 120." 6
Chasing Amy is a free Pride Month community screening at Great Star Theater in Chinatown. Seating is first come, first served after RSVP; no outside food or drinks. 7

Kathy Wang — co-founder of Press Club (an AI agent for press outreach that has landed coverage in TechCrunch, Fortune, and Axios), former Dropbox product lead who scaled a product from $0 to $1.2M ARR, Red Dot: Best of the Best design award winner — runs a hands-on workshop on design prompting. 10
Topics: design style vocabularies (neo-brutalism, vaporwave, glassmorphism), metaprompting with design psychology, rapid prototyping with AI. Wang argues most AI-assisted startup product design ends up looking like it "was designed by the same depressed robot" — minimalist, purple gradient buttons, a hero section announcing "The future of [blank]." The session is part of SF Design Week. Sponsored by Remy. 10
