Bruno's hat-trick, LASK's comeback and Madrid's 4-0: 24-31 August in Europe

The week ended with Bruno Fernandes scoring three times in Manchester United's 5-2 win over Ipswich, Chelsea surviving a seven-goal game against Brighton, and LASK overturning Celtic's 3-0 first-leg advantage to reach the Champions League league phase. Real Madrid also made the loudest early statement in Spain with a 4-0 win over Malaga.
