Sophie Zhao has everything a perfect wife is supposed to have — a clean home, a warm dinner, a husband she chose. The problem is he stopped choosing her back.
In this opening episode, we follow Sophie through one ordinary morning: a dream she wakes from embarrassed, a hand she reaches out that gets pulled away, a door that closes mid-sentence. Across town, Blake's real eight AM meeting has already arrived.
Nothing explodes. Nothing is announced. The damage is quieter than that.
