Nvidia Chases Hugging Face, Google Ships Gemini 3.8, Wonderful Raises $550M

Nvidia is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire Hugging Face in a transaction that could reach $14 billion. Bloomberg reports that the deal could include a $12.9 billion agreement and a $1 billion employee retention package, while no final agreement has been reached. 1

Google launched Gemini 3.8 Flash and Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber. Google says Flash keeps the same introductory price as Gemini 3.7 Flash: $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens. The Cyber model is available to trusted defenders through Google's Fairwind Program and targets vulnerability discovery and automated patching. 2
