Three new targeted Amex offers to check this week: Air France/KLM, Airbnb, and Platinum Member Airfares (2026)

The September 1–8 window produced three useful public sightings for US Platinum cardholders: a 20,000-point Air France/KLM offer, two Airbnb variants, and a $200 credit tied to Platinum Member Airfares. All three require a targeted offer to appear in the account, so the first step is the same: open Amex Offers, add the offer to the card you will use, and read the live terms before paying.

Air France/KLM expires first, on September 30. The two Airbnb variants run through October 20, and the Platinum Member Airfares credit runs through October 31. Frequent Miler reported the Air France/KLM offer on September 3, the Airbnb variants on September 4, and the Platinum Member Airfares offer on September 6.

Air France and KLM: 20,000 points before September 30

Frequent Miler’s September 3 report describes a targeted offer for 20,000 additional Membership Rewards points after at least $1,000 in qualifying purchases with Air France and/or KLM. The source reports a one-time bonus and a September 30, 2026 payment deadline. The travel itself may take place later, as long as the booking is paid during the offer period.

The booking path matters. The flight must originate in the United States and the purchase must be charged in US dollars. Online bookings at AirFrance.us or KLM.com qualify; bookings through partner sites, agents, affiliates, ticket desks, call centers, or customer-service phone lines do not. The offer also excludes items such as baggage, in-flight purchases, hotel and car bookings, lounge fees, mileage purchases, tours, and ground transportation. Award-ticket taxes and fees may be useful for meeting the threshold, but the live terms in the reader’s account control.

The practical check is straightforward: add the offer first, then make sure the checkout is on the US airline site, in USD, for a US-origin flight. Do not assume a booking made by phone or through a travel agent will count.

Airbnb: two targeted variants through October 20

Frequent Miler’s September 4 report, updated September 5 lists two Airbnb Amex Offers:

Spend $250, get $30 back. The maximum value is $30, so the effective return at exactly $250 is 12%.
Get 15% back, up to $30. The $30 ceiling is reached at $200 of qualifying spend.

Both variants expire October 20, 2026, require adding the offer before spending, and allow one statement credit per eligible Card Member account. Qualifying purchases must be made directly through airbnb.com or the Airbnb mobile app, in USD. Gift cards are excluded.

The report calls both offers targeted and does not establish that either version is available to every Platinum cardholder, or even that targeting is limited to the Platinum product. Check the personal Amex Offers tab rather than planning around a variant that is not displayed. If both appear, compare the cap against the size of the booking: the fixed-$30 version needs $250 of spend, while the 15%-back version reaches its cap at $200.

Platinum Member Airfares: $200 back on a $1,000 Amex Travel booking

LoyaltyLobby reported this offer on September 6. The offer gives a one-time $200 statement credit after at least $1,000 in qualifying purchases by October 31, 2026. The source says enrollment is limited, the offer is non-transferable, and only US-issued cards are eligible.

This is narrower than a generic Amex Travel purchase. The booking must be a Platinum Member Airfares booking made directly through AmexTravel.com, the Amex Travel app, or the phone number on the back of the card. The eligible marketed airlines listed in the offer terms are British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss, Air New Zealand, Qantas, Alaska Airlines, Air Canada, Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Iberia, Delta, and American Airlines. Flights booked directly with an airline or through another third-party site do not qualify, and other Amex Travel purchases are excluded. Payment must be in USD.

The airline list overlaps with some other Amex travel promotions, but this is a separate offer with its own booking category and deadline. Before paying, confirm that the itinerary is labeled Platinum Member Airfares and that the checkout remains inside Amex Travel. An eligible airline alone is not enough.

What was not publicly confirmed

No dated public report in this week’s review established a new US Platinum dining Amex Offer or a new hotel-points transfer accelerator separate from the Hilton bonus already covered in the September 1 issue. That does not mean no such offer exists: Amex Offers are personalized and the public view is incomplete. AwardWallet’s Amex Offers coverage was also checked without producing a Platinum-confirmed item for either missing category.

Open Amex Offers on each eligible US Platinum account and search for Air France/KLM, Airbnb, and Platinum Member Airfares.
Add an offer before making the purchase, and use the same enrolled card at checkout.
For Air France/KLM, confirm a US-origin flight, an online AirFrance.us or KLM.com checkout, and USD billing before September 30.
For Airbnb, compare the two caps and use only the US website or app for a direct USD purchase before October 20.
For Platinum Member Airfares, confirm the special fare label, the eligible airline, and the Amex Travel booking path before spending $1,000 by October 31.

Public reporting is a useful radar, not a substitute for the live terms attached to the card. The account view decides whether an offer is available and which version’s restrictions apply.
