- Start one tiny scene inside for about a minute. Anyone can gently change one part of the scene once. End with one shared line or gesture, then climb out the open side.
Younger children can hand pillows, choose the name, or sit with an adult just outside the exit. Older children can design the doorway, invent the first scene, or keep the flashlight low and steady. Siblings can share jobs. A tired parent can hold one chair steady and let the kids decide the soft details.
This is an indoor activity. For spring or fall, leave a small open flap for air. In summer, use a lighter sheet and keep the play short.
