ETH Holds Flat; Pudgy Penguins Rises 12% as BAYC Slips 3.1%
A near-flat ETH week split the blue-chip cohort: Pudgy Penguins rose 12.01%, BAYC fell 3.06%, and current activity remained strongest in CryptoPunks while weekly breadth stayed unresolved.
The read
ETH ended almost exactly where it began. CoinGecko's seven-day series moved from $2,514.97 to $2,515.68, a 0.03% gain, after dipping to $2,423.41. The macro backdrop was flat; the collection tape was split. Pudgy Penguins rose 12.01% from the Aug. 21 snapshot, while BAYC fell 3.06%. CryptoPunks slipped 1.33%, Azuki rose 3.08%, and Doodles rose 3.49%. 1
The strongest floor move came from Pudgy. CryptoPunks carried the largest current 24-hour volume at 126.58 ETH, with four sales and a source-reported 308.32% increase against its comparison period. BAYC registered 55.94 ETH and seven sales, while Azuki fell to 2.88 ETH and three sales. Those are 24-hour readings from NFT Price Floor, not verified weekly totals. 2345
Data cutoff: Aug. 28, 2026, 09:00 ET (UTC-05:00). The collection pages were captured within minutes of that cutoff. ETH uses the first and last points in CoinGecko's returned seven-day series, from Aug. 21, 19:00 ET to Aug. 28, 09:00 ET. Floor changes compare the current collection snapshot with the Aug. 21 OpenSea snapshot recorded in the previous briefing.

OpenSea supplies the current floor, rounded USD activity pulse, listed count, listed share, and top offer for the five collection pages. The Doodles ETH-equivalent volume divides OpenSea's rounded $6,820.90 by the CoinGecko cutoff price of $2,515.68. The offer ratios use the rounded USD fields where OpenSea exposes them; they are directional bid-quality readings. NFT Price Floor supplies the 24-hour volume, sales, percentage comparison, and seven-day sale ranges for the four pages that rendered those fields. 678910
The listed percentage is a supply snapshot. The Aug. 21 to Aug. 28 count change shows the visible supply direction between two captures; weekly additions, cancellations, sales, and listing velocity require event-level history.
What changed by collection
BAYC: the floor lost ground while near-floor trading stayed active
BAYC dropped from 8.1487 ETH to 7.899 ETH, the cohort's largest floor loss. OpenSea's listed count rose from 277 to 291, and the listed share moved from 2.8% to 2.9%. NFT Price Floor reports 55.94 ETH of 24-hour volume and seven sales, up 26.59% and 40% in its comparison fields. 26
The top bid is 7.50 ETH, about 94.9% of the floor. NFT Price Floor lists a seven-day average sale of 8.72 ETH, with a 15.30 ETH high and a 7.44 ETH low. A visible 9.88 ETH sale for BAYC #510 appeared about 15 hours before capture. The page shows seller and buyer wallet addresses, while the event view supplies no quantity sequence for a sweep label. 2
Read: turnover is present, yet the floor and listed supply still point to seller pressure. A tighter bid gap and a falling listed count would make the repair more credible.
CryptoPunks: the volume leader still carries the largest visible supply
CryptoPunks fell from 32.41 ETH to 31.98 ETH. OpenSea shows 1,103 listed items, or 11.0% of supply, barely above the Aug. 21 count. NFT Price Floor reports 126.58 ETH and four sales in 24 hours, with its comparison fields up 308.32% and 300%. 37
The seven-day sale range runs from 30.80 ETH to 125.00 ETH, with a 44.11 ETH average. The high lifts the average far above the current floor. Recent visible prints include CryptoPunk #2403 at 31.79 ETH and #2876 at 31.80 ETH, both shown as about 22 hours old, plus #9700 at 31.49 ETH about 36 minutes old. These are separate sale rows; the available fields do not establish a common buyer or a multi-item sweep. 3
Read: Punks has the deepest current flow, but the 11.0% listed share and the distance between the seven-day average and the floor keep breadth unresolved.
Pudgy Penguins: the rebound finally has a visible floor lead
Pudgy rose from 3.83 ETH to 4.29 ETH, the clearest floor gain in the group. The OpenSea listed count increased from 210 to 225, so the listed share rose from 2.4% to 2.5% even as the floor advanced. NFT Price Floor reports 39.49 ETH and nine sales in 24 hours, up 9.05% and 12.5% in its comparison fields. 48
The top bid is 3.99 ETH, about 92.6% of the floor. NFT Price Floor's seven-day sale range is 3.60–36.88 ETH, with a 4.47 ETH average. Recent visible prints include #8247 at 4.57 ETH, #7030 at 4.50 ETH, and #6525 at 4.50 ETH, shown between about 13 and 16 hours old. The rows identify seller and buyer wallets, with no multi-buy sequence. 4
Read: Pudgy has the best price move, but supply expanded and the bid sits furthest below the floor among the collections with visible offers. The rebound needs continued turnover and tighter bids.
Azuki: price improved while the activity pulse contracted
Azuki rose from 0.844 ETH to 0.870 ETH, and OpenSea's listed count fell from 464 to 442. The listed share moved from 4.6% to 4.4%. NFT Price Floor reports only 2.88 ETH and three sales in 24 hours, down 66.14% and 66.67% in its comparison fields. 59
The top bid is 0.83 ETH, about 95.0% of the floor. The seven-day sale range is 0.78–1.64 ETH, with a 0.91 ETH average. Recent visible prints include Azuki #4293 at 1.00 ETH about 11 hours old and #1023 at 0.90 ETH about nine hours old. The two rows show seller and buyer wallets, while the activity fields provide no evidence of a multi-item sweep. 5
Read: the supply snapshot improved, while the sharp volume and sales decline makes the floor gain a low-breadth repair signal.
Doodles: a small floor recovery with the thinnest measured pulse
Doodles rose from 0.37 ETH to 0.3829 ETH, while the OpenSea listed count fell from 274 to 257. The listed share moved from 2.7% to 2.6%. OpenSea reports $6,820.90 of rounded 24-hour volume, equal to about 2.71 ETH at the CoinGecko cutoff price. The Doodles NFT Price Floor page rendered an empty market-data shell, so its volume, sales, seven-day range, and event fields remain unavailable. 1011
The OpenSea top offer is about 97.8% of the floor, the closest visible bid in the cohort. That support and the lower listed count are constructive, while the small activity pulse leaves the recovery unconfirmed. 10
Read: Doodles has a better supply snapshot and bid ratio, yet the market needs more observable trading before the move can carry much weight.
Execution map
- Test Pudgy's follow-through: the floor gained 0.46 ETH, while the listed count rose by 15 and the top bid remained 7.4% below floor. Continued volume with a tighter bid gap would add confirmation.
- Separate Punks volume from breadth: the current 126.58 ETH pulse and 44.11 ETH seven-day average sit beside an 11.0% listed share. A falling listed share would reduce the visible overhang.
- Wait for BAYC bid repair: the floor fell 0.2497 ETH, listed supply rose by 14, and the top bid sits about 5.1% below floor. The next useful change is simultaneous floor stability, tighter bids, and sustained turnover.
- Treat Azuki's gain as a low-flow repair: the floor rose 0.026 ETH and listed share fell 0.2 percentage points, but 24-hour volume fell 66.14% in NFT Price Floor's comparison field. The 1 ETH area needs broader trading to regain significance.
- Keep Doodles on confirmation watch: its listed count fell by 17 and its bid ratio is the strongest visible one, while the available 24-hour volume is only a rounded 2.71 ETH equivalent.
Coverage limits
NFT Price Floor was tried as a new aggregation route this week. It exposed labeled 24-hour volume, sales, comparison percentages, seven-day sale ranges, and wallet-linked recent prints for BAYC, CryptoPunks, Pudgy Penguins, and Azuki. Its Doodles page returned an empty market-data shell. 234511
The available data still leaves weekly total ETH volume, weekly sale counts, week-over-week volume changes from a period-labeled feed, new listings, cancelled or sold listings, listing velocity, and unique weekly buyers and sellers unavailable. The seven-day high-sale fields lack a complete item timestamp and wallet sequence, so the article reports recent prints and sale ranges without whale or sweep labels. Current owner counts also remain separate from weekly participant counts.
Blur returned a security challenge and empty app shell in the current coverage check. Magic Eden's tested Ethereum BAYC page returned page-not-found. NFT Price Floor aggregates across marketplaces but exposed no marketplace-by-marketplace floor fields in the captured pages. Cross-marketplace floor discrepancies and arbitrage signals therefore remain unavailable. 1213
The weekly signal is mixed: ETH was flat, Pudgy delivered the clearest floor strength, BAYC carried the largest drawdown, and Punks carried the deepest visible flow. Breadth still needs to catch up with the headline moves before any collection reads as a fully confirmed entry or exit signal.
