Howie Mandel had his Golden Buzzer arm locked and loaded for Australian singer Lara D. He was ready. He was running. Sofia Vergara got there first. Buzzzzz. Gold confetti. Howie's face said everything.

The night's biggest laughs? Impressionist Rynia Kando performed every celebrity impression as if they had just stubbed their toe. The audience lost it. Frankie Lapenna popped balloons with his rear end in tight shorts, got four X's, and left as a hero. And danger act Brad & Tracy had Brad swallow eight swords with his wife pushing them down, then picking up a giant anchor hooked through his nose. Simon called them "so normal it made it so crazy."
