Amex Platinum Offers: Jun 26

No new Platinum-exclusive Amex Offer was confirmed today, but Holland America gained a second targeted tier, the pulled Hilton/Virgin transfer bonuses now point to a July 1 watch date, and June 29–30 deadlines require action on Etihad, Saks, and the broader Jun 30 cluster.

Friday, June 26. No new Platinum-exclusive Amex Offer was confirmed in the latest tracking window, but three things changed enough to affect today’s decisions: Frequent Miler refreshed its Current Amex Offers page after a 7-day CardPointers freeze and removed the expired U.S. Open offer; Holland America now has two targeted Amex Offer tiers; and Doctor of Credit independently confirmed that the Hilton +20% and Virgin Atlantic +30% Membership Rewards transfer bonuses were pulled after an early launch. 1 2 3
The short version: add Holland America if you have a cruise payment coming up, do not force a Hilton or Virgin transfer while the general bonuses are gone, and finish the June 29–30 deadlines before the weekend gets away from you.

Frequent Miler’s Holland America article shows the $200-back offer and reports a second $250-back tier. 2
Holland America is the most actionable new detail because the math is simple. The $200-on-$750 version is a 26.7% statement-credit return before any cruise pricing differences; the $250-on-$1,000 version is a 25% return. Both tiers require an eligible targeted offer in your Amex account, and both depend on booking spend rather than onboard charges. 2
Frequent Miler also notes a practical split-payment angle: if multiple household cards are targeted and the booking is at least $1,500, paying by phone or through a Holland America travel advisor may allow the payment to be split across cards. Treat that as a strategy to test during booking, not as a guaranteed online checkout path. 2

Transfer bonuses: wait for July 1 unless targeted value fits

Amex pulled the general Hilton Honors +20% and Virgin Atlantic Flying Club +30% Membership Rewards transfer bonuses within 24 hours of their June 23 launch. Doctor of Credit said the bonuses appeared to have gone live early and were probably intended for July 1; Frequent Miler reached the same broad conclusion after noting that the pulled offers had real listed end dates. 3 4

That makes July 1 the next watch date, not a reason to transfer now. The currently separate targeted Hilton bonus is still account-specific, and its value is weak unless you already have a Hilton redemption ready. TravelingForMiles calculated that the targeted 30% version produces about 0.84 cents per Membership Rewards point under its valuation assumptions. Frequent Miler also covered Bilt’s July 1 Rent Day Hilton transfer bonus, ranging from 75% to 200% depending on Bilt status and Bilt Cash terms, but that is not an Amex offer. Frequent Miler explicitly recommended giving it "a wide berth" because Bilt transfers to Hilton at 1:1, while Amex Membership Rewards normally transfer to Hilton at 1:2. 5

Deadline board: act before June 29–30

ItemWhat changesLast practical action dateAction for Platinum cardholders
Etihad GuestAmex removes Etihad Guest as a Membership Rewards transfer partner on June 30; Frequent Miler states the last transfer day is June 29. 6Jun. 29, 2026Transfer only if you already have an Etihad Guest redemption plan; Bilt, Capital One, and Citi remain Etihad partners after Amex exits. 6
Saks Fifth Avenue $50 creditThe Points Guy reports that the Amex Platinum Saks Fifth Avenue statement credit ends on June 30 and the benefit is being eliminated after that date. 7Jun. 30, 2026Use in-store or pickup if you can still generate a charge before the deadline; online orders are risky because the credit depends on shipment timing. 7
June 30 Amex Offer clusterFrequent Miler’s Last Chance page still lists the June 21 edition, and the tracked June 30 cluster remains unbolded: Hotels.com 10X MR, Hyatt $75/$300, Delta Vacations $200/$1,000, Norwegian $200/$1,000, Flying Blue +25%, Marriott +20%, and Dell 5–13%. 8Jun. 30, 2026Add any targeted Amex Offers you may use now; transfer bonuses do not require Amex Offer enrollment, but they still need an actual transfer before expiry. 8

The Jun 30 cluster is easy to misread because several items are different types of benefit. Hotels.com, Hyatt, Delta Vacations, Norwegian, and Dell are Amex Offers that require enrollment in the Amex app before use; Flying Blue +25% and Marriott +20% are Membership Rewards transfer bonuses that apply at transfer rather than through the Amex Offers tab. 8
The IKEA 10% offer remains a caution item. The research package found it missing from Frequent Miler’s Last Chance page, even though it had been part of the monitored June 30 discussion, so it should be treated as account-level only until it appears in your Amex app. 8

Today’s action list

  1. Add Holland America if either tier appears in your Amex account and you can book directly with Holland America before September 22; the offer does not cover onboard spend. 2
  2. Hold Hilton and Virgin Atlantic transfers unless your account has the targeted Hilton bonus and you already have a high-confidence redemption. The general Hilton +20% and Virgin Atlantic +30% bonuses remain pulled, and both Frequent Miler and Doctor of Credit point to July 1 as the likely intended launch date. 3 4
  3. Decide on Etihad Guest by June 29, because Amex removes Etihad Guest from Membership Rewards on June 30; after that, Bilt, Capital One, and Citi still partner with Etihad Guest. 6
  4. Use the Saks credit in person or through a same-day pickup path before June 30 if the $50 credit still matters to you. The Points Guy’s latest Saks piece says the twice-a-year credit is gone after June 30. 7
  5. Open the Amex app and enroll in any June 30 Amex Offers you may actually use. Frequent Miler’s Last Chance page has not escalated the cluster, but the calendar is now doing the work. 8
