3 AI wrappers: $691-$1.7K MRR

3 AI wrappers: $691-$1.7K MRR

This week's teardown covers ClaudeKit/AgentKit, GetMentioned, and Practiceme, showing why all three have public traction but depend more on distribution and trust than hard-to-copy technical IP.

[data] Three AI wrapper products cleared the evidence bar this week: ClaudeKit, GetMentioned, and Practiceme. ClaudeKit is a paid Claude Code kit bundle with $691 verified MRR; GetMentioned is an AI-search visibility monitor with $850 Stripe-verified MRR and a founder-claimed real MRR near $1,700; Practiceme is an AI English-speaking practice app with $1,681 RevenueCat-verified MRR. 1 2 3 [editor's view] All three sell a wrapper around a fast-moving AI behavior, and all three are small enough that a solo builder could copy the surface product. The catch is distribution. ClaudeKit depends on founder-media reach, GetMentioned depends on selling AI-answer visibility, and Practiceme depends on SEO and App Store search. The code is not the hard part. The first hard part is earning a channel before a better-funded clone notices the same job.
Three takeaways before the teardowns:
  • [editor's view] The best clone target is not the highest MRR product. It is the product where you can create one unfair acquisition wedge within two weeks.
  • [data] All three products are already listed for sale on TrustMRR. ClaudeKit is listed at $40,000, GetMentioned at $35,000, and Practiceme at $50,000. 1 2 3
  • [editor's view] The riskiest product is the one whose distribution story you cannot personally repeat. A thin wrapper with a borrowed audience is harder to clone than a thicker product with boring SEO intent.

Replication scoreboard

[editor's view] More stars mean harder to copy. For legal risk, more stars mean more exposure.

ClaudeKit / AgentKit: paid Claude Code kits

FieldTeardown
Positioning[data] ClaudeKit is a third-party premium toolkit for Claude Code, sold as six domain kits: EngineerKit, MarketingKit, VideoKit, SEOKit, EcomKit, and TradeKit. 4
Public traction[data] TrustMRR shows $691 MRR, 31 active subscriptions, $971 last-30-day revenue, $1,221 all-time revenue, and Dodo Payments verification. <MarkdownCitation index="1" title="ClaudeKit - $971 last 30 days
Job-to-be-done[data] The product packages 123 slash commands, 27 skills, and 16 subagents, totaling roughly 157,000 tokens, so Claude Code users can install reusable workflows instead of rebuilding prompts and agent instructions each session. <MarkdownCitation index="1" title="ClaudeKit - $971 last 30 days
Primary acquisition channel[data] The research package found social distribution as the main channel, with Madni Aghadi tied to the TrustMRR listing and a 103,500-follower X account, while the ClaudeKit domain has DR 0. <MarkdownCitation index="1" title="ClaudeKit - $971 last 30 days
Pricing and monetization[data] ClaudeKit lists $14.99 per month for one kit, $29.99 per month for any three kits, $49.99 per month for all six kits, and a $99 one-time option per kit. <MarkdownCitation index="1" title="ClaudeKit - $971 last 30 days
Technical lift[editor's view] ★★☆☆☆. Packaging commands, skills, and subagents into an npm CLI is approachable for a solo developer. The real work is quality control across many workflows, not infrastructure.
Information edge[editor's view] ★★☆☆☆. The manifest and token-ledger idea is useful, but the underlying workflows are inspectable and imitable once buyers understand the bundle shape.
Capital needed[editor's view] ★☆☆☆☆. This is mostly content, packaging, and distribution. A copycat can start with one narrow kit before paying for much infrastructure.
Legal risk[data] Duy /zuey/ announced on July 13, 2026 that ClaudeKit is now AgentKit, with the same team and mission. 5 [data] He also said the old claudekit/claudekit-engineer and claudekit/claudekit-marketing packages are deprecated and users should move to ak init. 6 [editor's view] The rename lowers the obvious trademark exposure, but it also shows how fragile a borrowed platform name can be.
[editor's view] If you wanted to copy this, start with one vertical kit where the buyer can see immediate time saved, such as a nextjs-launch-kit for indie SaaS builders. Ship ten excellent commands, add a token/cost manifest, and sell it as a tiny paid install. The first likely failure mode is generic output. If the commands feel like cleaned-up ChatGPT prompts, buyers will copy the idea once and cancel.

GetMentioned: monitoring brand visibility in AI answers

FieldTeardown
Positioning[data] GetMentioned monitors how brands appear in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google Gemini, with modules for mentions monitoring, perception, competitor benchmarking, sources, domain tracking, topic segmentation, and weekly reports. 7
Public traction[data] TrustMRR shows $850 Stripe-verified MRR from 6 active subscriptions, 12 paid B2B subscriptions, $13,686 all-time revenue, 94% gross margin, and roughly €650 per month in total costs. <MarkdownCitation index="2" title="GetMentioned - $793 last 30 days
Job-to-be-done[data] GetMentioned lets a brand check whether AI answer engines mention it, rank it, describe it positively or negatively, and cite sources that influence those answers. 7
Primary acquisition channel[data] The research package lists blog, SEO, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, YouTube, cold DM, and cold email as channels, but it also notes that the official X account has 11 followers and the founder's X account has 65 followers. <MarkdownCitation index="2" title="GetMentioned - $793 last 30 days
Pricing and monetization[data] GetMentioned offers a 7-day free trial, Starter at €89 per month for 25 prompts, Growth at €199 per month for 100 prompts, and custom Enterprise pricing. 9
Technical lift[editor's view] ★★★☆☆. A clone has to schedule prompts, vary locations and topics, parse responses, store rankings, and produce reports buyers trust. That is more than a landing page, but it is still ordinary SaaS engineering.
Information edge[editor's view] ★★☆☆☆. The edge is historical data and prompt design, not a locked dataset. A focused clone can build a smaller but cleaner benchmark for one vertical.
Capital needed[editor's view] ★★☆☆☆. The reported cost base is low enough for a small team, but every monitored brand adds recurring prompt, storage, and reporting work.
Legal risk[data] GetMentioned says it uses real-user simulation rather than only API calls, meaning it automates prompts as if a person were typing and analyzing responses. 7 [editor's view] That creates platform-policy and privacy questions a clone needs to treat as product requirements, not afterthoughts.
[data] GetMentioned announced an API on July 13, 2026 for pulling mentions, rankings, sentiment, and competitor benchmarks into a customer's stack. 10 [editor's view] That move shifts GetMentioned from a dashboard to a data feed. A clone should first prove that one customer segment changes content, PR, or comparison pages after seeing the report.
[editor's view] If you wanted to copy this, start with one vertical where AI-answer visibility can be tied to buying intent, such as cybersecurity tools, local clinics, or Shopify apps. Manually run prompts for 10 brands, sell the weekly report, then automate the parts customers actually read. The first likely failure mode is selling a score nobody trusts. If the customer cannot connect the score to leads or content edits, the dashboard becomes a vanity metric.

Practiceme: AI speaking practice for English learners

FieldTeardown
Positioning[data] Practiceme is an AI English-speaking practice app on iOS and web, with real-time voice conversations, pronunciation feedback, vocabulary tracking, progress monitoring, and cross-session memory. 11
Public traction[data] TrustMRR shows $1,681 RevenueCat-verified MRR, 114 active subscriptions, and $3,837 in the past 30 days. <MarkdownCitation index="3" title="Practiceme - $3,837 last 30 days
Job-to-be-done[data] Practiceme gives learners AI tutors for spoken English practice, including Sarah for everyday confidence and American English, Oliver for British academic English, and Marcus for travel and culture. 11
Primary acquisition channel[data] The founder says growth is fully organic from SEO and ASO, and the research package reports website traffic rising from about 2,865 monthly visits in April 2026 to 37,145 in June 2026. <MarkdownCitation index="3" title="Practiceme - $3,837 last 30 days
Pricing and monetization[data] The iOS app offers Weekly Pro at $9.99 and Yearly Pro at $59.99 with a 3-day free trial, while the web plan is $19 per month. 12 13 [data] Practiceme says mobile app and web accounts are separate, and subscriptions purchased on one platform do not transfer to the other. 13
Technical lift[data] TrustMRR lists Swift, Firebase, RevenueCat, and Stripe as the stack. <MarkdownCitation index="3" title="Practiceme - $3,837 last 30 days
Information edge[editor's view] ★☆☆☆☆. The app's differentiation is packaging and acquisition. The research package did not surface proprietary learning data, exclusive content, or a hard-to-copy curriculum.
Capital needed[editor's view] ★★☆☆☆. A lean clone can begin with one voice tutor and one learner segment, but sustained use will create voice and model costs.
Legal risk[data] The App Store listing names CODELINE TEKNOLOJI ANONIM SIRKETI as the developer, shows version 1.1.6 updated on April 24, 2026, and lists only one 5.0 rating. 12 [editor's view] The larger risk is proving learning outcomes and trust when the public review base is thin.
[editor's view] Practiceme is obvious to copy and easy to underestimate. The app category is crowded, but the traffic jump suggests ASO and SEO can still work if the landing pages match learner intent. The weak spot is social proof: one App Store rating does not give a new buyer much confidence.
[editor's view] If you wanted to copy this, do not build a generic English tutor. Pick one narrow learner job, such as restaurant workers practicing customer conversations or software engineers preparing for standups. Launch one tutor, one placement page, and one short daily practice loop. The first likely failure mode is retention. Learners may try the novelty once, then stop unless practice maps to a near-term situation.

What this week says about copyability

[editor's view] ClaudeKit is the fastest build, GetMentioned is the strongest B2B budget story, and Practiceme has the cleanest consumer funnel. The clone decision depends on which constraint you can beat: developer audience, marketer access, or ASO plus learner search intent.
[editor's view] The common trap is copying the interface instead of the acquisition motion. A ClaudeKit clone without audience trust is a folder of prompts. A GetMentioned clone without believable benchmarks is a chart generator. A Practiceme clone without a retention loop is a voice demo with churn.

What to do tomorrow morning

[editor's view] Pick one product from this list and write a 20-prospect copy test before building. For each prospect, fill four cells: current workaround, reachable channel, first paid promise deliverable in seven days, and platform-kill risk. If you cannot fill those cells, do customer discovery instead of opening your code editor.
