X-H2 floor gone, A7R V -$360: 5 deals (May 31)
After a full-day MPB outage on May 30, the Fujifilm X-H2's $1,509 cheap units are gone — floor reset to $1,649, window closed. Sony A7R V dropped $360 in 2 days to $2,069 (A7R VI pressure). Five picks: A7R V, Nikon Z6 III (all-time low Day 2 at $1,829), Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4 S (54% floor collapse to $194 — verify grade), Panasonic S5 II first appearance at $1,419, and Canon RF 24-105/4L breaking through $1,000 to $814.

System weather: post-outage reckoning
MPB came back online today after a full-day 502 blackout on May 30. Two things happened while the site was dark: the Fujifilm X-H2's cheap units sold out and the Sony A7R V shed another $360 off its floor.
Fuji X warning first. The $1,509 X-H2 floor from May 29 is gone. 1 Floor reset to $1,649 — a $140 structural rebound, all 8 visible cards now Like New ($1,769–$1,799) or Excellent ($1,699–$1,709). That window was a one-day batch liquidation. It is closed.
Nikon Z still leads the system-wide drop. The Z 24-70mm f/4 S lens floor collapsed 54% from $424 to $194 — the largest percentage move across all tracked systems this session. 2 The Z6 III holds its all-time low at $1,829 for Day 2. 3 Two new Z bodies appeared on MPB: Z5 II at $1,519–$1,569 (13 units) 4 and Z50 II at $849–$904 (18 units). 5
Panasonic L housekeeping. The Lumix S9 is fully delisted from MPB — product page returns 404, searches return zero results, 16 units gone. 6 The S1R is also likely cleared out. The S5 II — Panasonic's first phase-detect full-frame — appears on this radar for the first time at $1,419. 7

| # | Item | Price | Units | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sony Alpha A7R V | $2,069 | 112 | Buy — strong drop signal |
| 2 | Nikon Z6 III | $1,829 | 30 | High confidence buy |
| 3 | Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4 S | $194 | 46 | Buy — verify grade first |
| 4 | Panasonic Lumix S5 II | $1,419 | 18 | Buy — first appearance, check grade |
| 5 | Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM | $814 | 10+ | Buy — threshold broken |
1. Sony Alpha A7R V — $2,069 at MPB
6-month range: $2,069–$2,729. Floor dropped $360 in 2 days (from $2,429 on May 29) — a 14.8% decline. Inventory rose from 108 to 112 units (+4). 8
Why now: Supply expanding while the floor drops — A7R VI preorder pressure is pushing A7R V holders to unload. The A7R V (61MP full-frame BSI CMOS, E-mount, 8K video) retails new at approximately $3,500; at $2,069 that's 41% off.
Shutter count: Six Like New cards visible at $2,729, one Excellent at $2,709 (SKU 3465994, 8,980 actuations) — under 2% of the 500,000-actuation rated life. Confirm the floor unit's count before purchasing.
Red flags: No batch defects. At 61MP, camera shake amplification is real — use a fast shutter or electronic first curtain.
Pull trigger or wait: Buy. A $360 drop plus rising inventory in 48 hours is continued repricing, not consolidation. Pull the floor SKU and verify shutter count; if your timeline allows a week, watch for further movement.
Pair it with: FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS at $444 (64 units) 9 — $2,513 all-in. Or FE 50mm f/1.8 at $142 (110 units) 10 for a $2,211 prime kit.
2. Nikon Z6 III — $1,829 at MPB
Cargando tarjeta de contenido…
6-month range: New all-time low. Floor at $1,829 for Day 2. Inventory 30 units (was 31, −1). 3
Why now: Z6 III (24.5MP partially stacked CMOS, Z-mount, 6K 60p raw-capable video) launched at $2,499 — 27% off at $1,829. Two-day floor hold with only one unit sold and no bounce.
Shutter count: All 8 visible cards are Like New at $1,949, shutter counts 1,276 to 9,242 — under 5% of the 200,000-actuation rated life. The $1,829 floor unit is behind pagination; confirm grade and count before ordering.
Red flags: Nikon's "partially stacked" sensor (their own term) is not a fully stacked design — expect moderate rolling shutter in fast-pan video.
Pull trigger or wait: High confidence buy. Day 2 at the same floor, one unit moved, no bounce.
Pair it with: Z 50mm f/1.8 S at $384–$414 (56 units) 11 = $2,213 kit. Or Z 24-120mm f/4 S at $819 (38 units) 12 for a $2,648 hybrid kit.
3. Nikon Z 24-70mm f/4 S — $194 at MPB
6-month range: $194–$469. Floor collapsed from $424 to $194 in 2 days — a 54% drop. Inventory 46 units (was 48, −2). 2
Why now: All 8 visible cards are Excellent at $469 — the $194 unit is not on the first page. Given the $275 gap, the cheap unit is almost certainly Well Used or Good, hidden several pages deep. It pairs with the Z5 at $529 13 for a $723 full-frame kit.
Grade note: Confirm condition before ordering. MPB Well Used = functional with visible wear; Good = minor marks on close inspection. The $194 price implies meaningful cosmetic wear. Step up to the $469 Excellent units if cosmetics matter.
Red flags: No optical defects known at any Z 24-70mm f/4 S serial range.
Pull trigger or wait: Buy — verify grade first. At $194 for any functional condition the math is hard to argue with. Check the SKU photos and grade description; if it meets your standard, pull it.
Pair it with: Z5 at $529 (27 units) = $723 complete Z-mount kit. Z6 III at $1,829 + this lens = $2,023 at the Z6 III's all-time low.
4. Panasonic Lumix S5 II — $1,419 at MPB

6-month range: Floor at $1,419, first confirmed appearance on this radar. 18 units, price range $1,419–$1,509. 7
Why now: The S5 II (24MP full-frame L-mount, phase-detection AF, 5-axis IBIS, 4K 60p 10-bit) retails new at approximately $2,000 — 29% off at $1,419. Earlier Cloudflare blocks prevented confirmation; the listing likely predates today.
Shutter count: Not visible in listing header — request count for your SKU. Expect units in the 5,000–40,000 range against a 200,000-actuation rated life.
Red flags: L-mount glass selection is smaller and pricier than E-mount or Z-mount. The Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN ART in L-mount runs $854 at MPB (7 units) 14 — plan your glass budget before committing to the system.
Pull trigger or wait: Buy — first appearance, check grade. Credible full-frame with real phase-detect AF at a 29% discount. Confirm the floor unit's grade photos; if it's Good or better, this is a solid buy-in to L-mount.
Pair it with: Lumix S 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 at $194 (75 units) 15 — $1,613 L-mount kit (note: this zoom's floor is up $35 from May 29). Or Lumix S 50mm f/1.8 at $249 (36 units) 16 for a $1,668 prime setup.
5. Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM — $814 at MPB
Cargando tarjeta de contenido…
6-month range: $814–$1,139. Floor dropped from $984 to $814 — a $170 (17%) decrease. 10+ units. 17
Why now: The $1,000 price floor held for three prior sessions (dipped to $904 in May 26, recovered to $984 on May 28). At $814 that anchor is broken. The RF 24-105mm f/4L (Canon RF mount, L-series weather sealing, IS, USM AF) retails new at approximately $1,299 — 37% off. Product page was Cloudflare-blocked; price confirmed via MPB search.
Grade note: The floor unit's grade is unconfirmed. The $814–$1,139 spread suggests Good or Well Used at the floor.
Red flags: No optical defects reported at any RF 24-105/4L serial range. The Mark I f/4 remains the standard all-purpose RF zoom; Canon's f/2.8 version runs $2,999 new.
Pull trigger or wait: Buy — threshold broken. Three-session price floor just gave way. RF 24-105/4L is the logical all-purpose lens for any R-series body. Check the floor SKU's grade before ordering.
Pair it with: Canon EOS R6 Mark II at $1,739–$1,949 (10+ units) 18 — a $2,553+ full-frame RF kit at current floors.
