🌆 ASL Sign of the Day: EVENING
16/6/2026 · 22:15
Galería
Both arms in flat-B — your dominant arm starts off to the side, then arcs down onto your non-dominant forearm like the sun sinking below the horizon.
Swipe through all 4 cards 👆
Card 1 — Starting Handshape
Non-dominant forearm is the horizon. Dominant arm hovers above it, off to the side — palms facing down.
Card 2 — Motion
Arc the dominant forearm downward in a smooth, sweeping curve. That teal arrow shows the path of the setting sun.
Card 3 — Ending Handshape
Dominant forearm rests on top of non-dominant forearm — the sun has fully set. Static hold.
Card 4 — Usage
What are you doing this evening?
💡 Tip: Think of your dominant arm as the sun — it "sets" onto your other arm.
