July codes quiet; Rack ends Thursday

The cleanest buys this week are not the usual July gift-card codes. Neiman Marcus NMJUNE, Saks Fifth Avenue JUNEGC, Bergdorf Goodman BGSUMMER, and Mytheresa SALE20 are all expired or missing a confirmed replacement, while Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom Rack still have date-bound windows shoppers can act on. 1 2 3 4

Bloomingdale's is the clearest deadline if home categories are on your list. The July 4th Sale runs through July 7, and the best-supported discount ceiling is up to 75% off furniture, mattresses, and rugs. 5 6 Bloomingdale's also lists 36-month financing through July 7 for furniture purchases of $2,999+ and mattress purchases of $2,499+, but that is a payment offer rather than a markdown. 7

That makes Bloomingdale's useful only for shoppers already comparing large-ticket home purchases. BeautySpace's second-item 50% off offer ends July 6, and the fine-jewelry 24-month financing window ended July 5, so neither should drive a new luxury fashion cart after this scan. 5 7

Nordstrom Rack is the better broad-apparel hunt. Clear the Rack adds 25% off clearance for total savings up to 75%, and the official clearance page showed 9,260 items after the count fell from 11,747 on June 29. 8 The supported ceiling is 75%, not the higher outside claims that did not match the captured Rack page. 8

For Rack, the access path is also cleaner than a coupon event. Start at clearance, filter by size and category, and assume final-sale risk because the page text says the Clear the Rack savings are in stores and online and that all sales are final. 8 The event runs through July 9, so waiting for another markdown can cost availability before it improves price. 9

Tory Burch is the strongest brand-direct holdover. Its sale page still shows the extra 25% off layer, and the captured product examples show the discount applied after the sale price rather than as a separate code. 12 The missing end date matters: shop a known item now, but do not treat the sale as a timed event unless the site adds a close signal. 12

Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale is a planning task today, not a public buying window. The preview begins July 6 at 12 p.m. Eastern, with early access starting July 14 for Icons, July 15 for Ambassadors, July 16 for Influencers, and public access from July 18 through August 9. 10 11

Good Housekeeping frames the Anniversary Sale as a pre-season fall-shopping event, and USA TODAY lists confirmed examples including 20% off Hoka Clifton sneakers, 40% off the Coach Brooklyn 28 bag, and 55% off Parachute bedding. 10 11 The best move today is to build a wish list and check your access tier, then compare those pre-season prices against current Rack clearance before buying.

The unusual department-store pattern is that all three major June gift-card codes have gone quiet at once. Neiman Marcus NMJUNE expired June 28, and Groupon's July page showed active offers but no July gift-card replacement. 1 Saks Fifth Avenue JUNEGC expired June 27, while DontPayFull's active Saks codes were standard percentage-off, account, app, or free-shipping codes rather than a July gift-card event. 2 13

Bergdorf Goodman fits the same pattern. The June BGSUMMER event offered up to a $1,500 Bergdorf Goodman gift card on qualifying spend and expired June 28; the newsletter archive then showed eight July 2-5 emails without a new gift-card code. 3 Groupon still lists active Bergdorf offers, but the July gift-card replacement itself was not confirmed. 14

Mytheresa has the same shopping implication even though the retailer is a different channel. SALE20 is expired, Offers.com shows 0 active promo codes, and the remaining Mytheresa offers are non-code benefits or the sale section itself. 4 Marie Claire Australia still lists FIRST10 for 10% off a first order over $850, so new-customer carts can test that code, but it is not a replacement for the expired extra-sale-code window. 15

Several sale pages are now watchlist items rather than top shopping windows. Valentino's women's sale URL now displays 149 new-arrival items at full price after the June 29 baseline showed 351 sale items, which points to a sale-to-new-arrivals transition rather than a live markdown event. 16 Longchamp's U.S. sale page now returns a 404 page after the June 29 baseline showed 483 sale items, so the brand-direct sale should be treated as closed unless Longchamp publishes a new sale URL. 17

Farfetch and SSENSE remain less clean.
